@Kaicoyote 2 was so-so, but I think the first is one of the best parody movies ever, because it has a basic plot and has some of it's own jokes unlike the new ones where references can be called jokes

I love one the best because yes, it did have a somewhat plot and the references were clever. 2 was okay to me because while it didn't have a plot, the jokes were still enjoyable. 3 & 4 were meh as they only made me laugh the first few times I watched it but I can't watch them multiple times because the humor dries up for me.

@RYNO2511 that's because the 1st 2 movies were developed by the wayans older brother(shorty and sean's REAL brother)

after the success of sc1 and 2 some studio offered them a price they could't offer for the right's to the scary movie franchise

hence why the moie's kinda went downhill

kinda like how crash bandicoot and spyro the dragon on the original Playstation system went downhill after their respective developer's sold the right's
