  • That is nice work.....very beautiful. Goes to show what you can do to take a old Mosin Nagant and bring it into the 21st Century. Great work....

  • Ummm... I love it. I own 4 of these 2 completely stock including a genuine sniper, an m44 and two that are being customized. This is a nice setup. Don't listen to the haters... If you DO decide to produce these for sale please let me know. I might just be customer #1...

    Nice job.

  • Man that is a good looking Mosin!

  • why cut off 8" of barrel ?

  • Check out the update video on my channel we will make our vids soon thanks a bunch. The bryschopper team.

  • so i remachined this gun and then i put an old barrel on it

  • i think that looks cool but the m4 stock looks like horse shit

  • personly i think that thing is preety sexy that one of those un u would sleep with

  • cool looks like an m200 intervention

  • That looks really sick.

I'm sorry for saying this but it's hardly a Mosin. Not in a bad way though. I'm sure the bolt, magazine housing and bare guts are the same, but the new body is completely different and sick. Nice.

  • damn dude...you have skills....that is the best mosin ever...monte carlo stock is a joke now that i've seen this....good job man....jealous!

  • it looks like one of those tube guns, really cool you do good work

  • i like the original design, but this is kind of cool.

  • I really can't handle purists. This looks great. I think my only qualm with it is that you called it a "sniper," but fitted it with a crappy M4 stock with nothing for a cheek weld. ;)

  • HOW DARE YOU PUT STUPID RAIL WITH CHEAP CHINA SLAVE BIPOD. YOU SPIT IN FACE OF GLORIOUS RUSSIAN BATTLE RIFLE. YOU NO LIKE SIMPLICITY "COMRADE". THINK YOU ARE GREAT SNIPER SIMO HAYHA. HE USE PURE MOSIN NAGANT UNLIKE FAT CAPITALIST PIG YOU ARE.

  • @palyman92 u mad?

  • Lmao the foregrip looks Like you used a mag flash light handle! Hahaha! I plan on customizing my mosin but that's just too much imho.

  • Nice rifle. Love the customization.

  • would it shoot as effective? I think the 8 inches mean allot to that rifle?

  • Ha ha ha ha. Oh god I got a laugh out of this. Don't get me wrong I have no problems with Mosins or customizing them. It is just seems like a waste to me.

  • CUSTOM CUSTOM CUSTOM CUSTOM CUSTOM CUSTOM

  • gay 0/10

  • Noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo! Why would you do that?!

  • the title should probably read... the weapon that you built around a salvaged mosin nagant barrel. lol

  • @sisseeboy lol!

  • very nice, just got my first stock one Mosin today and you just gave me some great ideas

  • Okay kids. Calm down. Its not like arguing will make the gun disappear and you will become king of Camelot.

Very cool gun OP. Thanks for showing it. I love it when people take something and make it better. Thats just what you have done, what a great job.

  • looks pretty sweet

  • and techincally its not a customized mosin, you machined everything so techincally its not a standard mosin, so you really cant customize it, because its a new gun

  • its not mosin nagant its pronounced moysin nagant

  • This gives new meaning to polishing a turd.

Throwing AR-15 parts on a Mosin Nagant and machining a shitty handguard doesn't constitute making a sniper rifle. You didn't even float the barrel. You would have been better off bedding a standard Mosin Nagant stock and polishing the trigger. Good job wasting your time.

  • Hey man, would you be willing to sell the receiver/grip/stock combo? and as I see more... the bolt as well. Perhaps a commission project

  • РЕСПЕКТ !!!!!!!!!!!

  • What are your best groups with it?

  • ok not trying to be an ass but its gonna come off that way if you know all this about machining and gunsmithing why the hell do you have the scope mounted so high if the bolt doesnt clear bend it down those scope mounts are gonna kill your accuracy scope needs to be as close to the gun as possible not an opinion a fact i like where your goin with it but dont like where its at now

  • @guitarzan1283 not true it can be high you just sight it to shoot lower.

  • @xIUBUNTUIx and you just proved your lack of shooting knowledge the issue that the height causes is simply a matter of rigidity its far more stable if the scope is closer to the gun the higher up they are the more chance you have of the recoil moving your zero the mounts act as a lever when the recoil of the gun hits the higher you are the bigger the lever as i said before wasnt trying to be an ass to the guy just trying to help out

  • @guitarzan1283 you obviously havent seen how they shot at each other in ww1 .. any one can google some shit .

  • @xIUBUNTUIx ive been shooting since i could walk and ive been precision shooting and gunsmithing for about 10 years since i started machining oh yea did i forget to mention im a tool and die maker as well you obviously havent realized that its not still 60 years ago and we have this thing called technology and we have people who know how to use it to obtain useful knowledge just because you think you know alot about something doesnt mean you know more than someone else sunshine

  • @guitarzan1283 see i just made a point that it could be adjusted. and you went off thinking you know everything everything. sunshine ,

  • @guitarzan1283 sure............. just another you tube warrior . go and find another place to make believe

  • @xIUBUNTUIx and you continue to prove your ignorance and level of childishness i dont know everything but your theory on the adjustment has nothing to do with what i was talking about sure you can make it work you can duct tape a scope to a rifle and make it work but it wont be accurate for long if at all you continue to act like you know something about firearms and you say its me playing make believe i was trying to give the guy some advice on a subject i happen to know a lot about so fuck you

  • @guitarzan1283 lol quit being butt hurt you obviously are a "know it all" common around here .... do you think any one cares what you say this is fucking youtube, I can say im the oresident of the NRA , but does that make it true? . so like i said GTFO ,

  • Nice vid

  • yo man, that customization is bad ass my guy!

  • Good Job!

  • I totally agree that you should keep some guns in the original form. I have a pristine 1903 Springfield, and i could never do anything to that. If i where to buy a Mosin Negant then I probably wouldn't modify it unless it had two of them. But I dont see them as a collectors gun. And a custom gun is only worth what someone is willing to pay. I wouldnt pay 300 bucks for a factory Mosin. But if it was all moded in a way I like it, i would spend 300.

  • sweet gun man, I dont know why people hate when you modify guns like that. If anything you just tripled the value of that gun. I would buy it.

  • @cezann3 With the Mosin there is no problem. There are millions of them around the world.

But an old rifle should remain untouched. It sickens me when Bubbas re-chamber old rifles for more common calibers and put modern scope mounts.

Tripled the value? A Mosin Nagant is about 100-something bucks. If he tripled the value, it's because of the stupid weights he put on, not because it's "worth" more.

To any buyer, 100 bucks of original Mosin Nagant are worth more than $500 mods.

  • @bf2lover42

100 dollars worth of original Mosin parts is worth 100 dollars........

    to anyone who can count.

  • @segx Okay, do you prefer 100 bucks of rifle that killed Nazis or 1000 bucks of plastic and aluminium that punches holes in paper targets? Exact same logic, it depends on the target audience.

Do you prefer buying an original Mosin Nagant or buying it already modded? Take into account that an original can be bubba'd by yourself, while the dude who modified it might try to sell it for a profit?

It's called supply and demand. The demand for an original is higher than a bubba'd.

  • @bf2lover42

    troll baited.

  • @segx "HURH HURH HURH TROLOLOLOL"

No. What you did was hardly trolling. You simply exposed that the numerical value of 100 bucks is $100 (thank you, captain obvious) but there is higher demand for original Mosin Nagants. I ain't even mad, so fail troll is fail.

If you really did try trolling (and not just excuse yourself) then you get 0/10.

  • @bf2lover42

    you sure told me off.

  • Hey guys its the barrett 416 we are going to start doing are videos again i am his son haha the little one shooting the mosin, but now i am 17 and things have changed our current project is my ruger 10/22 bullpup so stay tuned for an update if you have ANY questions pleaasssse message me and mind the old nerf gun videos hahaha thanks.

  • you know, i never really thought it to be a good idea to customize a mosin, but this rifle you built is beautiful

  • I think if you could do that for a couple hundred bucks, you would have a business.

  • Beautiful machine work on your Mosin. It looks absolutely stunning yet sinister at the same time. I WANT ONE!

  • there is over 37 million mosin nagants that where produced in the world, customize them all you want.

  • really want to make a project out of this, any way to convert these things into box magazine fed?

  • Mosin nagant aint a sniper rifle bro...it was just an ordinary rifle that they fitted with a scope...that doesnt make it a sniper...just like the svd is a mraksman rifle and not acctualy a sniper...

  • @hellocookiemanhello what is it like to not know wtf you are talking about? maybe you should tell that story again brah..... "acctualy" the mosin was used by the sniper with the most kills of all time, with iron sights at that. 3 out of the 10 on this link of the top ten snipers (opinion) are mosin users

    listverse(.com)/2009/11/13/top-10-snipers-in-history/

    get learned.

  • @segx You should take your own blabbering advice, Oh that's right people you like this Russian junk ,they are always crack heads and low intelligent Hillbilly's.

So hows that crack you been smoking and how is sex with your mother, sister and father !

I bet you like sex with your daddy the best !

  • @Hincesti07

Romania, wow wtf... I got an ak thats a romy... your beloved country used(uses) that russian "junk" ... what me and my family do in our free time is none of your business...

  • @segx lol you know the distance between building in germany their shots where usally arounnd 130 yards but the angles is what made it a hard rifle to snipe with it was used more as a scout rifle lmao thats why you cant find hardly any mosins with pu mounts attached but i love mosins myself the round is terraifying but the good ol 06 beat it everytime

  • @chrissteezybezzy fair enough.

  • @hellocookiemanhello Dumb as fuck.

  • very nice...thx........by the way whats a basic one cost!!!!

  • @erinblack990 100 bucks

  • Man, it looks very nice. Gratz.

  • Which scope do you have on this rifle? How has it held up? I've heard that 7.62x54R recoil is very stout.

  • i dont think you should still call it a mosin, but I like it :D

  • that is so fuckin sick...

  • well done!

  • carbine not carbean

  • @1eyedude10 It's "carbean." Historically. Great rifle.

  • Nice!

  • That is sick to take a 40's Russian sniper and pretty much make ur own gun out of it u got imagination

  • Nice weapon.

  • You modified Mosin is excellent. How much would you charge to do that to my Mosin? I would be seriously interested in paying for the modifications. I would however like a longer barrel, about 26 inches would be perfect. Would also like to change the lever on the bolt if at all possible.

  • what would you charge for a receiver set up like that

  • I love it! It looks awesome and appears as if some care and good quality work was put into this weapon!

  • NICE.

  • It looks very good..but I think you lost too much velocity by cutting off 8"...I think you need at least 22" barrell for good powder burn..

  • that thing is going to kick your ass

  • Why not just get a rem 700 action and add all the other stuff you have on it and have a more modern gun for the money??? Why buy a jeep if your going to put a diesel engine into it??

  • @MrKimberCrazy Why build what everyone else is building it great to not be like all the rest.Im glad to see the guy in the vid building what he wants we have that freedom here for now to do stuff like this. And theres nothing wrong with putting a diesel in a jeep if you want to its called freedom.

  • @MrKimberCrazy Because he was doing the entire thing by hand himself. He wasn't paying people to do it. My guess? The total price, including the gun itself, is around $250 at most, at least $150.

  • Great video keep up the good work.

  • Sell me your gun!,! I'm serious, please write back if interested, tks!

  • That's bad ass man. Can you mod my Mosin Nagant like that ?

  • Not saying this isnt cool cause it looks great but you could just get a 223.

  • @1020rable

    But a 223 could cost a couple $100, a mosin cost $98

  • @1020rable Yeah except this is a lot more powerful then any .223.

  • pardon me for my question i am new in a gun hobby. is dry fire a mossin nagant it will damage the rifle ? .thanks

  • @gedevega Its a 100 dollar rifle made in the 40's...who cares? And dry firing will not break it.

  • @ItzDuckSauce thanks for the answer

  • This is very impressive, it clearly took a lot of work and craftsmanship. I don't understand why people act as though Mosins are some sacred relic from the past that it's sinful to modify. They made 37 MILLION of these rifles. They're about as rare as a Honda Civic. That's what makes them great, they're cheap and plentiful enough that the average hobbyist will dare to do something unique with them. Good work.

  • looks dumb

  • badass man would u be willing to make that set up for someone else and how much would u charge if so

  • I would lower that scope for a better cheek rest positioning, and then put a Magpul PRS stock so you can raise your cheek rest. I think that would make this an ultimate purpose built more modern rifle. Great customization and great imagination. oh and better optics... lol good job man.

  • I would customize my moisin but I don't really like the bolt. It's just not good enough to spend some money on:P

  • good job, looks good

  • why did you shorten the barrel, for god sake.

  • I LOve Sniper MAGNUM

  • I just ordered a Mosin because of this video.

  • @sirsalamander Good choice! You should look at the Boyd's or Richard stocks.

  • When are you going to start selling the kits??

  • Interesting project. Nice work.

  • Its a lil turd called GrayAu thats talking alot of shit on somebody elses video. dude fucking grow up call of duty would explain why your on the internet so much. dude let people enjoy this guy vid without having to read you comments and everybody getting in your shit. they should make to were you have to be a certain age to view contents like this.

  • Do you have an video showing how I can customize my Bolt/receiver like yours so I can mount my scope in the same manner??

Great work, you are a craftsman.

  • That looks like shit that comes out of my ass!

  • why would u change a perfectly good rifle? it wasnt made to be cut up and customized if you want a tactical gun get an ar15 dont cut up a piece of history that helped shape the world

  • @personwhoisbored1000 Seriously! The modifications probably costed like two times more than the gun itself! If you want a plastic tacticool rifle then buy one meant for that, not a rifle like the 91/30...

  • with an RIS Rails on the bad boy that would be even sexier than what it is.

  • Awesome work man. I was not expecting something even close to that nice when I clicked on this vid.

  • thats nice! i plan to get a m91/30 very soon. and i also plan to strip it down and mod it to look like a modern day sniper rifle. these guns have no value and little history as most of them were surplus rifles tucked away in a warehouse some place in east-euro and never used. so why not chop'em up and make'um look cool.

  • I just realized that your barrel is not floated. Any plans for that? I bet you'll get better groups afterwords.

  • fucking faggot you ruined a classic and beautiful gun and turned it into a heavy ass piece of shit that looks fucking UGLY and you can't even pronounce the word 'carbine' fucking queer.

  • @GrayAu You're are a retard. You realized there are 43 milloins of these.

  • @GrayAu I can't even beleive I didn't look at your profile before I replied to you. You go and insult a man that knows 1000x more than you about firearms assuming that there aren't about 43 millions of these in the world + the different variations of this rifle and you have fucking techo and anime as your only videos on your site. Who the fuck do you think you are?

  • @MavHunter20XX Rofl I got into techno and anime 2 years ago. I am 19 and those aren't my only interests. Besides the fact that I own a compound bow and that I spent hundreds of dollars to learn HOW TO make traditional bows and a ton of my time, and that I went hunting at 12 with guns. I'm multi-faceted you moron and I know what I'm talking about. He ruined the Nagant, a ton of people on these forums think so, and the others that commented back to you think you are a moron. Have a nice day.

  • @GrayAu He didn't ruin a nagant. For all you know the nagant he used was a parts rifle and a total piece of junk. Just because you can't appreciate something doesn't make it wrong.

  • @theBLC420 no it makes it wrong b/c even if it's junk a respectable rifle like the Nagant doesn't deserve the humiliation!

  • @GrayAu My mistake. Good thing there's MILLIONS more of them. WTF is humiliating about giving an old gun action/barrel new life? STFU kid. Stick to what you know. You sure as hell don't know guns.

  • @GrayAu

thats a nice gun. and if you appreciate fire arms you should appreciate the craftmanship of him making that a better gun. times have change and do you see any older guns out performing the newer guns no cause times have change and so has technology. the should put a restriction on your ass watching these videos any way your not even old enough to legally own a pistol without dear old daddy.

  • @dedone03 true but I can own a rifle. And the nagant is a rifle lmfao? And older guns of same caliber outperform half the shit they make these days. Unless you're referring to miniwarheads being launched by the AA12 prick. Fuck off as if you know shit.

And all he did was make it a worse gun by adding more weight to it. He didn't change it's performance at all and chopped the barrel lmfao lost accuracy.

  • @GrayAu In this guy's first video's on his custom Molsin Nagant gun he admits that shit gun shots groups 12 groups at 100 yards.

Just more Russian made inaccurate junk made worst with a hack saw .

What in the hell why anyone would waist their money on such Russian crap when you can spend $350 on a Savage 110 in 30-06 that shoots 1 inch groups at 100 yards !

I'm sure every snot noised Russian loving punk is going to attack me on this too !

  • @Hincesti07 yeah he ruined that gun and lost allot of accuracy, i have a 91/30 that all i have done is add a scope to it and i can get 1" groups out to 150 175 yards easy and i guess im a snot nosed (not noised) punk cause i love them old russian rifles but i love all rifles sooooo.....i do own a springfield 1903 in 30.06 it shoots about the same its not the rifle but the shooter that either makes or breaks a weapon.. have a great day :)

  • @Hincesti07 you just a hater. sucka.

  • @Hincesti07 12 group at 100 yards? Maybe cuz he fucked it up. Tha Nagant is an accurate motherfucker and russian rifles are PRO. I don't have a single drop of russian blood in me either, but ppl who hate on a whole country's weapons = lol. Russian weapons are pro and I doubt they would keep it as a sniper if it had a foot of inaccuracy from a mere hundred feet. GG son.

  • @GrayAu Well clearly you are a Russian fan boy, your idea of accurate rifles would be some AK 47 or this Mosin which accuracy is at best 10 inch groups at 100 yards !

Now my American rifles keep a 1/4 inch groups or better at 100 yards, Now why would I want Russian low end trash ?

I'm sure you will come back with some crazy thing you can take the eye out of a rat at 2000 yards with your AK or Mosin, every one of you Russian fanboys lovers is a pathetic liar just like a Russian . !

  • @Hincesti07 low end......Hahahahahahahahaha don't embarress yourself.

U.S. Snipers actually have Vasily Zaytsev as one person out of many that they have studied shooting tactics and tactics in general from...

Guess what Vasily used.....? A MOSIN-NAGANT with 242 C-kills during Stalingrad.

the gun can fire up to and around 800 meters.

fires the 7.62x54mmR cartridge and is accurate, the bolt action is a + to accuracy. The original rifle had feeding and other issues but by WWI were fixed

  • @Hincesti07 you are uneducated, retarded, and racist. I like all kinds of guns, thank you, and if you hate Russian rifles b/c you are a prejudiced bastard than you should not have ever clicked on this video.

    Sit down.

  • @Hincesti07 .... because they fking work

  • @SWOgottaGO My Remington 700 and Weatherby Mk5 works to, the difference is thy make groups of 1/4 inch at 200 yards, the Mosin well lets say my 12 gauge with 00 buck shot makes better groups than that Russian junk !

But hay you want one of these go ahead and buy it, its your money waisted when the same amount of money you pay for a mosin you can by a Savage 110 with scope that groups 1" groups at 100 yards.

Walmart daily sells Savage 110's for $375 all day all year with scopes !

  • @Hincesti07 Why should I take the word from a someone who thinks nationality is what dictates the quality of products? Do you sympathize with Hitler and what he stood for? Seriously, grow the fuck up!

  • @SWOgottaGO What are you even blabbering about and how does Hitler have anything to do with a Mosin hunk of junk !

I guess you have nothing of quality to com pair against what I own so your pissed off.

  • @Hincesti07 If you didn't understand what I meant nor you couldn't make a correlation then why are we even talking?

What you own, oh you mean that trash Remington 700? Please!

  • @SWOgottaGO Any day you want to bring $5000 to bet against my Remington 700 is a shitty Mosin hunk of junk for which gun shoots better you let me know . talk is cheap but laying out money to prove your B.S will be costly to you !

  • @Hincesti07 You can use that poorly manufactured 700 all you want but I know my Mosin will out-work it all day long!

  • @SWOgottaGO All blabber Bull shit and know serious backing up what you say.

Man up to the bet or shut up !

  • @Hincesti07 You need to call Remington about your defective 700 pal.

  • @SWOgottaGO Go smoke some more crack !

  • @Hincesti07 I guess your a "fellow" American that thinks that other peoples items are shit because you don't like them. Act your age and be mature......oh wait your 2 years old my bad

  • @SWOgottaGO This only shows what a ignorant moron you are, the Remington 700 is one of the most winning Rifles in competition shooting .

The U.S military and other country's depend on the Remington 700 for their sniper rifle since Vietnam .

There is not one Mosin in international shooting events because its a hunk of Russian crap !

  • @MavHunter20XX GrayAU appears to be a hateful little fella huh ? He should stick with his cartoon doodling and read the book "How to Win Friends and Influence People."

  • @GrayAu Dude, it's HIS rifle. Whether or not you like it, he did a fine job of taking just 1 rifle of millions identical to it and made it HIS. 1 of a kind....He isn't telling you how to draw your little cartoons. Learn a little humility and please grow up and show a little tolerance for other people's opinions.....Being such a "potty mouth" really shows your maturity. I'll just bet you're an Obama fan, aren't you?

  • @61804shill You're just as stupid as the guy you're making fun of if you're accusing him of being an "obama fan" just cause he's not smart enough to appreciate this gun

  • @61804shill lol it's the only thing he could afford give him a break :D. he's defensive because it's probably the only firearm he has ever owned. BTW.... look at the likes and dislikes on this video... YOU LOSE!

  • you want a long barrel on a "sniper" rifle.

    Chopping it = fail.

  • @BillyBadasssssss Look up barrel whip and you'll understand why anyone would want to shorten a barrel.

  • @MavHunter20XX

So it is safe to say you don't understand barrel whip.

  • @BillyBadasssssss Not only do you insult me, but you also demonstrated your ignorance. You need enough metal width in order to avoid barrel flexing, that's why you heavy barrel profiles. Barrel length only effects velocity at the muzzle.

  • @MavHunter20XX

It is a far more complex issue than barrel flexing, it is harmonic balance. You can tune a barrel, the stock, and your loads to increase accuracy. Cutting a barrel short arbitrarily does not "fix" your imagined problem. (nor does it add width) Plenty of long thin barreled accurate rifles. Plenty of boneheads hacking them down because they think it looks "tactical."

  • so whats still original about it?

  • so this is no longer a mosin nagant. great job....

  • @yeahyeah1821 i know right!

  • @yeahyeah1821 no it is just a custom mosin, just because you shave a dog does not mean it is a cat

  • @xxXskaterdude117Xxx yes it does

  • best mosin on the net!

  • @jdogtotherescue lol with all those damn mods i would not consider it a mosin

  • I also would like to know why you shortened the barrel on a "sniper rifle" and any plans for a muzzle break? Like the work keep it up. For everyone, building custom rifles are built for the person who is building it therefore there preferences will differ from yours.

  • @itsyourboy66 With a barrel that thin, the barrel will tend to "whip". Look up "high speed mosin nagant" and you'll see a slow mo of a barrel whiping around while being fired. Shortening helps reduce that effect. Plus, you get the opportunity to recrown the barrel for better accuracy.

  • You won that big ass trophy for making this Mosin right? awesome job.

  • This weapon looks great and as an avid fan of the MN series of weapons I still ask myself one question? Why does everyone seem to think that the AR15/M4 should be chamber in to any caliber round? In this case, you have made more like an MNM4 hybrid in 7.62x54R.

  • I am very impressed! i would be intrested in getting one!

i do love the old military firearms, they are very much a part of history and they are beautiful weapons. i have an M91/30 (all origional) that is a joy absolute joy to shoot. in my opinion as far as customizing goes..... if you bought it you can do what ever you please with it......

i have hardly seen any with this much modification to them.... good job!

i will be subcribing to see if you update it further....

  • what kind of scope is mounted on the rifle ?

  • Not bad. My criticisms: 1) Why cut the barrel down? Not only are you decreasing accuracy, but you're decreasing muzzle velocity as well. 2) I hate M4 stocks on any gun - even M4's...but that's a personal preference. 3) That bolt just looks awkward to use - maybe it's not, but from the way it looks in the video, it just looks like it would be a bit of a PITA to work.

Still, very impressive that you did this yourself.
