Sounds great but listen to the words. This song is written to God the Father. Third Day confuses the roles within the Trinity. Christ gave His life up for sinners, not God the Father, rather God the Son. The Father did not give his life up..He gave His one and only Son's life up...how great a sacrifice! Some may say it's not a big deal, but it really is. To say God the Father gave up His life for us is distinctly not Biblical nor is it Christian. Sounds great. just kinda irresponsible lyrics.

Thanks for your opinion. It is true that God the Father sent God the Son. However you do need to understand that music does not necessarily flow as one continuous perspective. Just as someone would converse with several people in a group discussion, the song does the same. First it is "talking" to God the Father then the second verse is "talking" to God the Son. Ex. Jeremy Camp's song 'My Desire'. If you notice he switches the 'You' perspective from audience to 'You' God.

It's not irresponsible, he is giving his praise to God the Father and the Son.... this song brings about God's Spirit upon me. Nothing can fake that. It's pure Holy Spirit. You sound like the Pharisees in the Bible.
