I whole heartily believe Beyonce IS on par with her.She is the Tina Turner of today.I;m so tired of everyone not giving credit where credit is due. If Beyonce was as untalented as everyone would LOVE to believe,why would she have 16 grammies.6 of which she got in 1 night.i understand saying that you don't like her MUSIC but to not like her?! @teenfling Grammys do not make a person good, WHATSOEVER! Beyonce does what she does well and should not be compared to TINA at ALL. TINA is in a class all by HERSELF. Beyonce is NOT EVEN in her League, & I like Beyonce. TINA is RARE! Voice, Beauty, Energy, Presence,Style, Body,Class, Sex-Appeal, etc. Yet, THIS should not detract from Beyonce.

When Tina Turner was young , in the 60's, it was really hard for a black woman to achieve sucess in the USA, although there were a few exceptions, like Aretha Franklin or The Supremes. But Tina Turner, Etta James or Ann Peebles were really good singers back in the 60's and 70's without commercial sucess (but in Europa Tina was always huge, strange...).
