Well their have been stories (in fiction anyway) of a woman, who was unable to have kids, finally becoming pregnant after loving and nurturing an adopted child. My sources are from the book A Tree Grows in Brooklyn & the Sleight Out of Hand episode of CSI:NY. :)

when joxers son virgil is supposed to sell xena as a slave, xenas clothes comes off and virgil is.. staring at her.."like that" xena is supposed to look exactly like his mother. why is he starring like that? alarming xD don't you think?

tell me you are joking with me? have you ever considered that this is not supposed to be 2011? doctors back then were unlikely to have the knowledge they have today. Or that meg thinks like Winnie the Pooh. She may not even have visited a doctor, but she fucks around so much and when nothing happens, you know.

@hulkmeister23 there was a 25 year gap in the series where joxer thought x & g were dead. he had to accept it and move on sometime... :D

Hey I thought the same thing it's best not to dwell on it to much when ever you notice a flaw or plot hole it's ok to know it & ignore now when there are a lot of flaw's & plot holes it's not a very good show I think they just wanted to give joxer a cool son & at the same time put him and meg together sense they always messed around plus to show xena what she would look like later in life.lol OH AND DOES ANYONE KNOW WHERE I CAN WATCH XENA EPISODES ONLINE I REALLY WANT TO SEE "MATERNAL INSTINCTS"

I know you shouldn't dwell in the past, or in this case some flaws in a TV show. I normally don't do it. It's just that I have bought a new editing program, so I wanted to learn how to use it with different effects and text windows. This video was just for fun. :D

Virgil is the exact same as Joxer in every way but looks. No doubt that Joxer is his dad. As far as Meg is concerned, it would be easy to assume you couldn't have children after not getting pregnant in a whore house. They didn't have the extensive knowledge we have today about conception.  Likely she was just missing the egg. Meg=Beautiful (Like Xena) Joxer= many good qualities. Together that equals Virgil. =)

I agree, he's in every way just like Joxer; kind, loving, puts things into perspective and he is a great companion and friend. I liked him and would have liked to have seen him in more episodes in season 6 and also at least some mentions of Joxer the Mighty

you have a point :p But in the series anything can happen. Xena gets even pregnant without a man, Gabrielle sort of to. They die and come alive again. So Why not getting pregnant when she thought it wasn't possible. :p. Or they adopted the kid or found him, but never told anyone. Because Meg was working in a "house for pleasure" so anyone could get pregnant and didn't want the baby. :p just my thoughts. :D

I noticed that too, yeah. I think, the creators just forgot about, Meg couldn't have children, so they came up with Joxer and Meg having a son. Is a blunder maybe.
