Absolutely my favorite aircraft. Does anyone have videos of the rear stairs and the inspection hatch for #2 engine. I actually used the stairs at Akron-Canton. That was a long time ago!
@mrswartz Thank you. Absolutely. In fact, shortly after filming this plane was heading for Phoenix, AZ. Then in a later flight, this 727 was scheduled to Istanbul, Turkey.
Hey whats the tailnumber to this plane. I remeber when I was a little kid and I flew on a Delta 727 from Austin Mueller to Atlanta. I can remeber those engines were loud!
@imogengraceleyshon N727NY is the planes tail number. It's just a code that stays with an aircraft until it is retired. The N is just what all aircraft in the United States tail numbers begin with, followed by a letter or number code. Like in Canada the tail numbers are different, and may be like C-ABCD.
@luislaurencio Awesome! No, I'm not a pilot but I hope to be someday. My dad was a pilot, and one of his friends had his aircraft under repair at MIA, so he invited me. Thanks for the comment.
that is AEWSOME!!! how did you get a tour of that??? what airport was that??? very cool. and who is captian bingo?? a friend of yours??? well nice video man :)
thanks! An old friend of my dad who was a pilot as well currently flies this plane, and whenever he flies down to an airport near me, we go down to see it. Its a great privelage. My others 737-400 up close video was this same pilot.

Great interior shots, but keep sound turned off. Hard to believe these were once common to every airport worldwide!
