When you look at Off the wall, Billie Jean, Beat It, and the Motown Live performance you see his dance moves were aggressive and elegant. His movement contradict each other and yet blend perfectly in these performances. I liked how he kept a mystery to his image during this time period. Later on 80's his Imagine became more female but his movements became more aggressive. Either way hes the king

2) Michael was sent to court twice and was found not guilty twice about child molestation. The reason why people though this was because because he hung out with chidren all the time but he did this because he had to work during his childhood and never got to have a regular childhood

I watched this performance the night it originally aired. I grew up a Jackson 5 fan. So when I saw they were performing I was glued to the tv set. The other acts were good but they stole the show, if they had been thieves then the police wouldn't have tried to stop them. It was the best day of my life. I remember it exactly as it was when i saw it live, and I was only 9! It is indescribable.
When they started performing, it was nearly like a church service because we saw how people started getting up and clapping. Another thing, I never saw Michael or his brothers so BOLD! That was very neat!

This song isn't a lipsyncing. The reason I can tell is his voice is slightly deeper and the song is being played slightly faster. Usually when the song is faster the voice gets higher. Michael never believed in lipsyncing so he never did it.

Watch the Dangerous World Tour DVD - Jam is lip synced, vocals are identical to album, whereas Wanna Be Startin' Somethin' is live, vocals are nothing like the album and you can hear him breathing. Furthermore, Michael had a throat infection on History tour and had to lip sync the majority of songs for a number of concerts.
Although MJ got a huge response from the crowd for doing his first ever moonwalk onstage, he was angry at himself @13:06 because he planned on standing on his toes for a lot longer but it didn't work out. @Topg1 Well if I could use one word,... I could never describe it! Even if you gave me a dictionary! The other acts were good but they stole the show, if they had been thieves then the police wouldn't have tried to stop them. It was the best day of my life. I remember it exactly as it was when i saw it live, and I was only 9! It is indescribable.

why are you EVEN discussing lip syncing anyway? OMG, MJ just fronted this entire band prior to his solo performance, by singing 5 - 6 J5 songs LIVE..in perfect pitch and harmony! Michael saw a black sparkly shirt hanging there and he took such a liking to it that he wore it that same night. That is now the world famous top worn to a performance that changed the history of music. It was him Mom's. I just love the simple respect and love he had for her that he wore it. This song isn't a lipsyncing. The reason I can tell is his voice is slightly deeper and the song is being played slightly faster. Usually when the song is faster the voice gets higher. Michael never believed in lipsyncing so he never did it.

@AslanGriffindorLion you're joking, right? The fade out at the end proves this performance is lip synced. Another give away is the fact that the track version sounds identical to this performance. Michael lip synced throughout the majority of his HIStory tour so watch a Billie Jean performance from then and tell me it doesn't sound exactly the same. I am a huge Michael fan and to deny that he EVER lip synced is just ignorant.

@AslanGriffindorLion being a fan of Michael's since before I was even born I think I know the difference between his LIVE and lip synced performances. This version of the video does sound a little deeper than usual but if you watch another version it sounds exactly the same as the track version. Of course, if you'd bothered to watch this performance more than once you'd have already heard that.

@AslanGriffindorLion Michael has lip synced in hundreds of performances man. It is incredibly difficult to dance and sing at the same time, Michael did a combination of both. Watch the Dangerous World Tour DVD - Jam is lip synced, vocals are identical to album, whereas Wanna Be Startin' Somethin' is live, vocals are nothing like the album and you can hear him breathing. Furthermore, Michael had a throat infection on History tour and had to lip sync the majority of songs for a number of concerts.

Although MJ got a huge response from the crowd for doing his first ever moonwalk onstage, he was angry at himself @13:06 because he planned on standing on his toes for a lot longer but it didn't work out. He said that his brothers even kissed him because they were so happy for him, yet he still couldn't forgive himself for that one mess up- that no one even noticed. That shows what a genuine perfectionist he was. He perfected every detail possible. Thats what made him so great....

Im so sad watching this thinking about what a truly amazing talent we've lost. Man i've known these songs my whole life! im only 20 but hearing "The Love You Save" and "I'll Be There" I get as hype as any person who was there in the 70's when those songs first came out. Like I still get the shakes watching this and its almost 30 years later! Thats how amazing he and his brothers were, both solo and as a group. Gosh i miss you MJ. I hope you're at peace wherever you are <3
