I ASSUME they said it as a generalization, not referring to British comedy all together. It's just easy to say. But how they don't understand it well there's different types of comedy, different tones and what might be funny to them isn't funny to whoever "doesn't get it"

@Gaalsien uh huh... well I'm not sure what point you're trying to make, what your motivation for it is or why you're telling ME but to be realistic, for anyone in general, it's not really "clearly" and Austrailian film unless it's clear and it's not all too clear to anyone except maybe the British, the Austrailian and anyone else who recognizes the cultures well enough to depict them correctly. Other than that, a person in general can't "clearly" see it's Austrailian if they don't recognize it.

The fact that you can't recognise the Australian accent is suprising, but it even mentions Australia in the description and tags.
