I have been to quite a few places in the US and I there are alot of places that are rough, dangerous and a complete and utter shit hole. Miami is duscusting, stray away from the tourist areas and there are alot areas that are crime/poverty ridden. They make the worst/poorest areas in England look half decent. I find that the rich in the US live very well, the rest seem to be on the breadline, can't afford decent health care etc. It is a shame really, the Katraina part of this episode says it all

@GaryGarratt It's not as bad as you might think. Had you visited the Mid-west you'd probably find the US to be the best places in the world not just for the rich, but for the middle class and poor. The Mid-west tends to have nicer people and its easier to live there. Basically it depends what state you live in, and even then there are bad parts of town you'd want to avoid anywhere, but that's usually by the big cites. How's England?
