Well, I have an iriver clix 2, and I think it's the best one out there.

Do you know where I can get the cradle for the L player? It's the see through one,I see it one the korea site,but I dont read korean or know if they will ship to u.s. I also am still debating over L player or clix gen 2.I leaning towards l player becuase it's newer.

Interesting, where is Bass better, in L-Player or E100?

They both use very similar sound hardware and the headphones are identical. Either will provide thumping bass with the right headphones - as with 99% of players, the ones provided with the units need to be replaced with in-ear headphones ideally, if you want serious bass.

We always say that you should try to listen to players yourself - audio can be a very subjective matter. I'd go with the L Player, although there are other folks here at AMP3 who prefer the sound of the Creative product. Either one is a great sounding player.

It's not a clix successor, it's smaller for a start. methinks it's the successor to the S10.

I had a look at one on your ocean terminal store at the weekend. However the Dealbreaker was that i wasn't able to run it in portrait mode like the S10 was originally (so I could wear it like a necklace). This is a major design flaw considering where the lanyard loophole is placed. The (rather cute ;) ) girl I asked behind the counter wasn't able to change it. :(

Hi. I see where you're coming from with that, but the functionality is much more like the Clix (video, etc.) than the S10 and the screen is also Clix-sized. I think the Clix could be rotated to work portrait, but it was buried away in a setting menu - if the clix could do it, this can, as the player is quite similar under the skin. If you are in Ocean Terminal again sometime soon, ask them to look in the settings menu (possibly under display) as from memory, that's where it should be.

Okay - I've had the guys double check for you and for some reason, iRiver have removed the ability to rotate the screen - the S10 and the Clix 2 both had this feature, so I'm not sure why it was removed.

There is currently no cradle available - but we have a speaker dock coming into stock on the website quite soon - worth looking out for, as it'll act as a cradle as well.
