@pogomatthew Cuz I had a lose wire on the battery pack that kept shutting it off while I was trying to film so I got pissed and threw the two closest things i could reach at it! I actually didnt mean to keep that footage but found it when I went to edit everything. I thought it was kinda funny!

very nice build. I have the same body that i am putting on a komoto xl. i cant find a guy to put in it that looks scale. what scale is the guy in yours and where did him? also i have found alot of really cool 1:6 scale stuff online have you try anything that scale on the jeep on do you know how it would look?

I also recommend the scx-10 because it has an extremely realistic suspension setup, and it is a little quicker than a ax-10 which is good for hill climbs in my opinion. Love my ax-10/x-trail though! More vids coming soon!

thanks, it's off of a newbright 1/8th scale rc truck. i ordered it off e-bay when I couldn't find a zj grand cherokee body.

ya i looked into it im thinkin about buyin one.what frame do u have?do u no how well it fits on a scx 10 or somthing similer?i would think the seats would hit the trany ...

I probably would have gone with the scx-10 but it wasn't out when I bought my ax-10. I have the tcs x-trail chassis. I had to do a tiny bit of triming for clearance over the spur gear, and extend my links with spacers but other than that it fit preety good. The scx-10 with this body & 1.9s looks more like a light use trail truck. I would like to make a jeep brute with that setup. With this one I wanted more of a mud/rock truck.

i took a plastic coat hanger and cut it to size and then i took a shock preload/spacer cut it and pinched it around the piece of hanger with some plyers and c/a glue. then i smothed out the top with a hot knife. i'm preety ghetto so i make alot of stuff myself! lol

thanks! I spent alot of time on the build. I found the chain that i used on the front bumper and for the limiters at wally world in the art and craft section.
