Anyone please help:/ im very very smart in math but when it comes to reading, i cant. This sounds strang but i read things and im like " what is this!? I dont get it. Why is it still in front of me. " i just read but dont understand it.

when you convince yourself that you hate the material and it is worthless beyond passing a test, you have already effectively sabotaged your chances of learning. This has been proven by neurological research (e.g., Eric Jensen) .

Good suggestions. Other important tips might be, improve decoding, learn latin and greek roots of words, learn what prefixes and suffixes mean, increase vocabulary. Many people unfortunately do not have good decoding skills, which impairs comprehension. To improve this skill, the students MUST take remedial reading instruction classes which focus on decoding. Try Linda Mood-Bell or Phonovisual for adults for children Sing, Spell, Read & Write tutoring to remediate.
