They do that as a result of their own nature, no will or consciousness required, with some continuous energy provided by the sun.

The funny part is that in the opening monologue venomfangx is wrong: Adam and Eve were not kicked out of the garden because their souls were separated from god, nor were they kicked out as punishment for eating from the tree of knowledge, as is commonly thought. God and Empirical Logic.
One of the most destructive and misleading factors in thoughts concerning God is to restrict one's thought to the "logic" of the empirical sciences and to *fail* to recognize the *limits* and boundaries of that "logic".
Is that which is necessary in essence and which is considered the first source of existence matter itself or something else beyond the limits of matter?

He is a creator but His act of creation has not caused Him any movement or exertion. He hears but without the help of any bodily organism or any aid. He sees but without the assistance of organs of sight or external media. He is present everywhere but His is not a bodily presence. He is far away from everything created but this distance is not on account of space or dimensions.

His Omnipresence is unmistakably and intelligibly evident but He cannot be seen, discerned or viewed. He is hidden from human sight not because of His fineness and smallness. He is remote from His creation because of His complete Control, Might and Power over them, and creatures are far away and separated from Him because they were brought into existence by Him, because they cannot exist without His Will and Mercy and because they are force by "Nature" (free will is also part of nature)

He is different from everything but not in physical separation. He acts but without connotation of movements and instruments. He sees even when there is none to be looked at from among His creation. He is only One, such that there is none with whom He may keep company or whom He may miss in his absence. He is One but not a numerical unity which can be mathematically and logically subdivided.

@1tabligh I took the liberty of the translating the religious garbledegook: He is imaginary. We made Him up. We even plagiarized several previously existing religions to do it! We created rules for His existence to explain why He can't be sensed in any way that really mean there's no way that He could possibly exist. By creating Him, we created a wonderful way to control you. But, he's not Santa Claus, although the two of them share many of the same traits.

@1tabligh Who said that creation is moving towards perfection? Evolution simply describes how living things change over time and that those things that change the best to exist in their surrounding environment become thriving species.
I wouldn't dwell on "emerged out of mindless matter" issues too much. In some form or another, "something always was". That's something that our measly brains cannot comprehend, yet it must be the case. Some think it's a god, others think it's matter.

@1tabligh I don't see why belief in a god necessitates the acceptance of contradiction.
Matter has many, many properties. Some of them appear to be almost magical. The key difference is that matter and its properties can be studied and explained. Gods, however, are invisible, as are everything directly associated with them like heaven, hell, angels, demons, alleged miracles, and souls. To anyone actually studying these things, matter has much more depth and breadth than any god ever has.

@1tabligh Yes, it is possible. The most complex structures known today had very simple beginnings. Chemicals don't need to be instructed to react with each other to form more complex chemicals. With sufficient components in a hospitable environment, given time and enough reactions, complex chemicals such as RNA and DNA, the building blocks of life, result. They do that as a result of their own nature, no will or consciousness required, with some continuous energy provided by the sun.

@1tabligh What realistic scientist? Most polls I've heard of put it at about 95% of all scientists who actually study living things. (The kidney is nothing more than a filter by the way. It's really not all that complex.) Nature doesn't need knowledge or awareness to survive. Organisms only need to adapt to their current surroundings to thrive.

@1tabligh To do that, you have to assume a creator that sat alone in the dark all by himself FOREVER. After lengthy consideration, this mess of a world is the result of his creation. Floods, earthquakes, famines, droughts, starvation, dangerous bacteria, viruses, predation, and humans constantly at war with each other are the result of this "intelligence". You MUST admit, if that's the case, it's truly shoddy work. I'd fire him if I were his boss. Not a very logical presumption, is it?

You make assertions without any proof. Matter does have consciousness when it's a living, thinking brain. It's obvious you read one book over and over. Read some science books for a change. Simply spouting rhetoric doesn't make your assertions true.
By the way, belief without proof is not considered logical by any standard.

@1tabligh I think you'll find the answers you seek in the disciplines of chemistry, physics, and biology-same place I found them. Consider that the brain inside the computer you use is made out of the same stuff that sand and glass is made of. Look what's been done to that type of matter. Of course, people did that to the components, but we had to, because computer chips aren't living things. Once matter becomes a living thing, amazing results occur.

@1tabligh Because apparently it can. There is no evidence of infusion of anything magical in a human body or any other living thing for that matter. There's no soul container. No soul has been found entering or leaving a body. Cognition occurs electrochemically in the brain. It causes consciousness because we have a cognitive continuum - we remember things from yesterday because our brains don't reboot like a computer when we sleep. Matter isn't as lowly as you seem to think it is.
