@juleeohh fuck you. this isnt about her. its about the sportsmanship of it. you would never have the heart and especially not the muscle to even try this.. You are shit you piece of trash.
@EDog991 Same here!! When I play I just hope it doesn't happen to me! I would be terrified if it happened to me. At least you know not to turn back like that now!
I feel so bad for what happened to her. I think this is what sports really mean, its not about the winning or losing, its about teamwork and respect! I have been playing sports since i was little, but i think im getting to the age where it could happen to me. I dont want it to, but anything can happen to anyone!

The only reason cuz I'm going to CWU this fall and I read about this in wiki:D and honestly I never cry or get emotional over movies or anything like that BUT this almost made me tear up. I felt the deep emotion of joy and enlightenment. Mad respect for the 2 girls. Go CWU!!
That was cool. But, what would've been more amazing, would be to see Sarah on her belly; in tears of pain; clawing and dragging her torn ACL injured knee around the bases. Then, everyone bursting into tears as they pick her up at home plate. Now, that's a finish.
Sportsmanship at it's best! Way to go girls. This story needs to be made into a movie. And all kids in sports should watch this video and take something from it. The final score isn't always the whole story. Winning in life is done so by being noble and kind, not by a score. Again, well done girls. Makes me proud to be a father and coach of a softball team.
Ok, I gotta admit this got me moist. I love the fact that this still exists. Nice change from the normal drama and negativity in sports. They always try and enhance how corrupt sports have become. This was original and genuine.
Thats great those girls are so giving they were willing to do that.. but after that the umpire relized he was wrong a pinch runner could of gone in and ran that homerun!! if that umpire would of been right the act of great sportsmanship never would of been shown that day!!!!!!!!!!!!!! <3
if only all of us were this gracious in life, and understanding that winning isn't everything, that there should be some sense of decency and justness in the world. "you hit it over the fence, you DESERVED it". well said.
@murrayg Lighten up, Ringo. It IS a sentimental story. "Twin Towers treatment"? Uncalled for, matey. Judging by your clear lack of empathy, maybe you ARE an emotional retard...
Simply amazing. I just love sports always wanted to be a hero in sports and oneday I was a hero. When that day came it changed my life forever. I grew up around nothing but troubled people but found something that told me this is what lifeis about. Everyone should play sports of some sort, no matter what it is. It makes you feel good about yourself. Long live sports
this just makes me cry because i play club softball at a high level and to see girls put aside there egos and help another player from the other team. :)

Jeez, I don't normally get choked up, but I'll make an exception for this case. That was beautiful, absolutely noble and classy conduct.
