Your a Woman of good heart on my travels around America I find this in most of the citizens. We will one day wake up and greedy rich will be brought to book.
Who the fuck is this old sack of shit and why does she think she has anything to say that is more important than any here? Does the video place her on a dais over our heads? I have a fucking cuckoo clock already.
Michael Moore wants to rail against the very monetary system that made him a millionaire and that is hypocritical. The little guy like myself gains nothing the crap the unkempt fatass produces - his shit is like a sideshow at a cheap carnival - people talk about it for a week and what?
Congratulations, You're a moron. First of all, you saw the title and still clicked the video, then you complain and hurl insults like a 4th grade child. However seeing as you're probably an inbred redneck, I don't expect you made it very far past the 4th grade (Boy, you were right! That was fun!)
People talk about it for a week? You INTENTIONALLY CLICKED A VIDEO 1.5 YEARS LATER THEN APPROACHED THE CHARACTER LIMIT IN YOUR REPLY. Shut up, go watch Fox News. Hick.
Brilliant technique, my friend. Your wit knows no bounds and I am clearly outgunned. You should get a job as a pundit, you're definitely smart/clever enough to show up on TV as one of Megan Kelly's experts. I've never drank heavily and haven't drank in over a year. Don't be mad.
I think the word you wanted to employ is 'angry'. Dogs get 'mad'. You better get off your tightrope because you are about to fall and splat on the tarmac. It gets slippery out where you think you want to be so watch it, Pops.
No no, don't go. Explain to me the difference between a dog getting "angry" and a dog getting "mad." This should be good. Also I am 24 - don't call me pops. Where is it I want to be, exactly? Don't just post vague shit you know you won't have to defend, let's hear what you really think :)
Or come back with some more hilarious metaphors. Either way, it's funny.
Mmmm...Dogs don't get 'angry' as anger is a human emotion. Dogs act on instinct and their defensive displays might be considered anger by a daft fool. A dog with rabies is considered to be 'mad'. As far as where you want to be - you are attempting to push my button for some reason and that isn't where you want to be. Since you are 24 and I am twice your age you can call me "Dad" rather than Pops. Your mother would like that.
I love how you say "Want any more?" as if you somehow delivered a steaming hot plate of whoopass to my inbox. Okay, okay, you're a 48 year old man who tells "Your mom" jokes. That is something to be proud of sir. With such a mastery of the English language!
Want anymore? :p I'll be happy to purchase you a dictionary from Amazon since you apparently don't know how to use the internet to look up words the rest of us learned when we were 4. I will let you have the last word though, because I don't really care about this. See ya.
Are you serious lady?! Mr. Moores biggest mistake is thinking that he can think for the "little people", as you so eloquently put it. Your as much of a pompous ass as Moore and Hannity.
Earth to ella, He is NOT for the little guy. He is for the left right paradigm to keep us divided. The msm is owned by the Rothschilds, as does mags, tv co's, newspapers etc., Sounds like the media world has YOU locked up and engrossed and believing everything they throw your way. He doesn't give a rat's about the little people. He is CIA.
Hey there angel face. Michael Moore is a psyop for the cia. Did you see farenheit 911. That wasn't to hurt Bush. It helped him. It made us all think that Bush was just a silly ol lovable dummy. He made it look like we just bungled the 911 situation. 911 was an inside job. You are hurting your country with your ignorance. Read protocols of learned elders of zion. You owe it to yourself and your countrymen to wise up and quit falling for the headfakes by the neocons.
Right. Sure. Whatever you say. I'm sure the Elders of Zion explains it all. If you want to believe that crap more power to you. But the bankers control the entire world buddy. Jefferson knew what would happen if they were ever given control. Don't you realize that all wars in our history were financed by them. War is big money. So is terrorism. These bankers will stop at nothing to enslave us and profit. Wise up. If a nation doesn't go along with their wishes, we nix them.
To show you how dumbed down the population is, the movie opened with only $5 million. That is a horrible opener for such an important film. I cannot wait to see it. You cannot say there was no publicity for it. Moore was on every news show imaginable. Now if you excuse me, I have dancing with the stars to watch.......not!
Also, I don't think we should call what's going on as unfettered capitalism, this is stacked capitalism. The big corporations get tax breaks (Bush taxcuts), no regulations while regulations apply to their smaller competitors (Exxon-Mobil), no-bid contracts (Halliburton and Blackwater), and in some cases the government simply hands the corporations huge bags of money for free (Goldman-Sachs, Pharma, Medicare Advantage). How does the start-up compete against it?
Do you think he should have renamed the movie to: "Corporatism: a love story"
Cause you know what, I'm a Democrat who loves capitalism, believes in a safety net, and i hate corporatism, esp this corporate welfare shit we've gotten from Bush and, unfortunately, Obama.
PressForFreedom: Government involvement? Most of our so-called representatives are OWNED by the corporate lobby. It is exactly the other way around: It was the de-regulation of the financial sector (i.e. the hands-off approach by government) which caused this economic crisis. Sorry to dieagree.
actually CV, I don't think you'll gain anything from the movie. you think too much with your emotions and without logic. when the media preaches about how gov't is too big and taking over our lives, you'll go join the crowd with your meaningless rhetoric along with your subs who have never even taken any college courses in economics.
cv1122: I'm sure it will end up on YT in some form soon :) From what I understand, and mind you, I have not watched the film, Moore touts Obama as trying to solve the problems we face. In which case, I would disagree with MM. One should remember though, that films take time to make + that there is significant lag time between when the shooting stops + it's time of release. MM is now going after the DEMS as well, which is a good thing IMHO.
I would wish MM would run for office but the political arena is so corrupt that a very truthful person such as himself would not be allowed to really help make the changes necessary. It's best he continue filmmaking and get the masses behind him. Heard rumor he was quitting. I hope not as he always provokes thought on things most will turn their heads to.
I saw this movie yesterday & it was great, basically everyone applauded after the movie ended & had some funny parts in it as well, I laughed my ass off when he took exerpts of Jesus & when someone asked Jesus how to have eternal life Jesus replies " Double your prophets" ..lol
Some real horrible stuff in the movie as well, you gotta say WTF. I won't ruin it for you guys tho
Hmmm, I'd definitely watch it. Moore has gotten a lot of criticism from Alex Jones for ignoring some important facts. Jones accused him to his face in public of working for the inside, etc. Moore left no comment and just hurried away lol. Possibly Jones just startled him. I think they're both businessmen who pretend to be more sincere than they are, in my opinion (although I don't know Moore as well as I do Jones.) The information they get out is certainly important, whatever their reasons.
There is The zeitgeist movement, but that's on way higher level than the normal "omg we are hungry and we don't like people up there" movements that are created now.
Moore has lead the way on issues others found to be the "third rail" from Columbine (gun control), to Fahrenheit 9/11 (Bush administration), Sicko (health care in America) and now Capitalism A Love Story (Corporate Control of our Country).
I've watched all of his documentaries, each one excellent, brave, opening doors, allowing others to speak out and movements to begin. this one will be no exception.
I just saw the movie, it was a GEM! Very fast paced, interesting, and humorous. This is not only the best documentary I have ever seen, it was one of the best MOVIES I've seen. The sad part is that we don't have more courageous people like Moore in this country. Go see the movie, it's worth every penny!!
I think it will be interesting to see what parts of this story hes going to leave out ,or not cover. I have the feeling there is going to be quite a lot . One of the criticisms of the film is that he offers little to no solutions in the end . This maybe because it is the free market (capitalism) that makes the money in this country .
Remember , it takes a "government" to change or make the rules of the game.
I think if Moore attacked the PNAC and AEI and let these morons know that there has been NO government regulation, and how much money these organizations make by preaching hatred of government, things would come clearer. sorry to say that most people are too dumb to understand a MM movie, and will likely repeat a talking point from the media first about how government is the problem.
Great Video! I can't wait to see the movie, I especially liked "Sicko," Michael Moore is a brave soul, although I think he is being a softy towards the Dems also...
i like michael moore and some of his movies. i just hate this hitpiece "bowling for columbine" where he uses the poor victims of this shoolshooting to wage a dirty propaganda war against the second ammendment of the constitution and makes charlton heston look like some evil old gunnut and totally (intentionally propably) missing the point of the idea behind the second ammendment
My overall impression of him is that he is a left gate keeper. Hopefully in his new film he will make the point that we do not have capitalism we have corpratism.
I think if I have a problem with Moore, it's that I get the feeling that he's trying very hard to modulate his message so that it has the highest impact on the current environment. He's trying to be a player, and a smart one. The problem with that is, I think he could make better, stronger, smarter, more assertive films if he stopped trying to do any of that. The net result would be, I think, that he would be less controversial but actually win more converts.
I believe the worldwide boxoffice draws he gets speaks for itself. While the people here suck and swallow the propaganda of the elite 1% and believe Moore to be a socialist neo-nazi etc.
I guess the question is whether the goal is boxoffice or converts, whether worldwide or in this country. I think his current formula trades butts in seats for persuasion, but this is just a perception. Perhaps I'm wrong.
You could be right...I have not seen the movie. In any case, the political discourse in this country is so abysmal at this point, that maybe he feels the need for a somewhat dumbed down approach in order to reach the masses on that level. I'm not sure...
The creator endowed us with unalienable rights; the US Constitution was designed by very enlightened individuals who had the vision to protect these rights; the family is the foundation of society that benefits from this protection. A distorted form of capitalism has eroded our rights, our endowments, and seeks to eliminate the vehicle for protecting what is left. Many false promises made to the individual(little guy) in the questionable principles which create financial wealth for the few.
Moore is just difficult to watch...maybe if he took his psychotrophic like he was supposed to and didnt physically remind me of the Barron Harkonnen...
I think roger and me was good ...but the rest of his career he has never matched it
i think micheal moore is a clown. the real motivation behind his film is the emphasis on a socialistic society while influencing democratic party principles. sure he highlights the shortcomings (to say the least). he does it as a partisan figure though. everyone has an ajenda it seems. he was for ralph nader ne season then bashed him the next.i would never promote anything with micheal moore in it though.
I agree with Michael Moore's points just not his solutions. Collectivism is not answer, the reason all those people took money is because we have an immoral government.
Life insurance on people without consent is only possible with government tax breaks. The bailouts only possible by the government printing press.
The fight not to pay taxes is a right of every individual, it is slavery and government solution only create big problems that the government will fail on fixing.
He will come around, and is already doing so. He will take on Obama or wishy-washy Dems. He will not mince words...he's very critical of them at this point. Which is good! Don't be too harsh on the guy...not just yet - + especially not while Beck + Fox are promoting hate on a daily basis. As I mentioned, he is a bit naive at times, but not naive enough to see the bs all around us. In fact, he can challenge the DEM leadership and he will do so (but this will NEVER be aired by the MSM.)
NWOfighters: no, please don't think, that I'm right about everything. I am not. But yes, keep an open mind about the moore thing. If the major media push back, which they will, then it doesn't necessarily prove michael moore is right, but rest assured, they will consider his movie a major threat to the status quo. Otherwise, they would simply ignore it. And yes, Beck is 100 times more dangerous.
Of course, he's a trouble maker. Like our own governments, which cause even bigger troubles, but hey, they are far more respectable, according the 'news'. Governments + the corporations which run them, can easily knock off a few thousand civilians in their unending war on terror, without a problem whatsoever. Meanwhile, the same media is calling Michael Moore a 'fat' cat. To my knowledge, he hasn't killed anybody, nor does he advocate this riduculous 'war' on terror.
Yes it is brave but not if he blames capitalism. because in the socialized world M. Moore would like to live in the bankers would still be there and doing their thing. Come to think of it he already live in a socialized country as America has plenty of social program to prove it.
Capitalism can work but we're way beyond that now. The merger of government and corporation is actually called fascism.
Michael Moore will and still taking criticism.. he's a strong person. "It's easy to stand with the crowd. It takes courage to stand alone.."

All the fury and outrage from neo-cons establishes the merit of this film.

I remember buying a MM book in a little bookshop a few years ago and the women who sold me it said..
'Ugh.... you don't like him do you'
'Yes' I said
'Ughhh.. he's just a loud mouthed horrible trouble maker' she replied!!!

I actually think MM's pretty brave to take on these big money guys. Thanks Ella.
