Ive always kinda felt like from his stage presence, Vic was the kinda guy that liked to get noticed, and make himself look good.... this video proves that notion to me. I think to be "showing off" in the face of two of the greatest bass players of all time is chauvinistic and just downright insulting. THey just kinda had to stand off to the side... ridiculous. he could have atleast showed that he cared they were there!

@smorgantc That's just nonsense. A solo is the chance for a musician to stand in the spotlight and "show off". If you're good at it, chances are you enjoy it. But it doesn't matter if he likes "getting noticed" or not. He has all the right to do so during his own solo, and I think it's really unfair to call it an insult.

I would even argue it'd be insulting to the audience NOT to give them a great show.
