I´d rather like to see the smarttop itself in action. Demostration is something focused on performing more than speaking/speeching... with my pardons if were case.
FYI, the Smarttop demonstrated in the video is capable of playing back 720p H.264 video, using the built-in hardware decoder. The playback software has to use this hardware though, and not much software supports it yet. I know Genesi is working on getting GStreamer to use the hardware decoder, which would make Totem Movie Player (default video player in Ubuntu) work with the hardware decoder.
The new i.MX53-based Smarttop (July/Aug.) will support 1080p H.264 decoding (when software enables it).
