@TorontoR The D8R-II doesn't output PPM or RSSI with the stock firmware. It has to be updated with the D8R-SP (the hardware on both II and SP is the same) firmware and then it outputs PPM from the channel 8. In both cases (stock and changed firmware) the RSSI has to be taken from the green LED, google for "D8R-II rssi mod" or something like that.
