  • I'm not so sure of where you are from. But once you turn the key to start, but do not start it, a light comes on in the instrument panel. It should say something along the lines of "Wait to Start". Do NOT start it until this light goes out. Not doing this, could cause damage to the glowplugs. This is the pre-heater system.

  • It cannot cause damage, they run for 2 minutes anyway. It may just not start.
