The better than the Ak47 is the HK416. But i think the HK416 should of been made to use the 7.62x51mm NATO FMJ rather than the 5.56x45mm NATO FMJ, that way it could be much greater than the AK47.
@Ratkill9000 HK makes an AR variant that shoots the 7.62x51 also. Not sure of the name but I'm sure someone else makes it just as good for less money.

But maybe Hugo Schmeisser brought the coffee, the STG44 were used for realistic targets and the weaponplans were used te heat the fire...all possible?!

Other companies like HK and Remington have come out was conversion kits. The gas system is the main problem with the M4. Well videos say that the problem with the recoil of the AK47 is the design of the stock which makes sense.
@MAKER6450 alot of vets even from vietnam and even modern day wars take and use the ak if they find one, it's not recomended that they do it since their shooting can be mistaken by enemy fire.

however, since romanian Aks are shitty and the recent price gouge with them, I decided to get an SKS instead. Higher quality, actually russian made, and cheaper. And for civilians it has the same capabilities as a civilian legal AK.

@Alexn1067 Romanian AKs work just fine, if you avoid the WASR 10, you'll get a good model for next to nothing, WASR 10/63 is a great gun.

I don't think that's the point they're trying to make, more that it is is widely used and highly effective weapon. Obviously, a gun isn't going to just shoot someone of it's own accord.

I hear you and of course firearms are not responsible themselves as they are not a conscience actor. I think the AK47 and it's decendents get such a bad reputation because not only is the weapon found in the hands of "the West's" enemies, but it's ease of manufacture and it's wide profiloration is used as a rallying cry against illegal gun manufacturing and trade.
