this guy talks so much balls. get a decent gun, id advise smkxs19 or air arms s200. one is a spring, one is precharge and both shoot within a 5 p piece at 30 yards.

the rest is just PRACTICE and knowing your gun.

its not the guns high or low score that makes you miss.... its probably just that you cant shoot streight

I've not tried that particular combination, but it should fit, providing you use a high mount. The Leapers 4-16 x 50 fits on most spring-powered air rifles, but sometimes it's not possible to attach the lens hood/sun shade as that makes the overall length too great.

No, gas pistons are available for only some break-barrel air rifles. Also, fitting them is a professional job - it can be VERY dangerous to try to open-up any spring-powered air rifle without the required knowledge and special tools.

Just watched this video and am looking at your website. In the video, you say that a scope will lower the RateAGun score for a gun. Why doesn't a red dot sight affect this score? I see that the scoped Crosman 760 has a lower score than the 760 without a scope, while the 760 with a red dot sight has the same score as the non-scoped 760. I realize a red dot is not the same as magnification, but the purpose of each is to make aiming easier, is it not?

You make an excellent point! The main reason that I did not attribute an improved score to red dot sights is because of their susceptibility to parallax effects if the eye is not kept in the same place for every shot. But maybe I've been too harsh with that assessment?

Oh yes, it's a very long gun - that's one of the reasons that it rates a high (=difficult to use) score.
