if nothing else these are a very interesting documentations of history.i loved the video.it's funny that in the days of film double exposure was used to show ''ghosts'' and now in the age of digital cameras it's ''orbs'' that are mean't to represent spirits.whether i believe it or not there are still some images that make the hairs on the back of my neck stand on end.Brrrrrrrr.

i know 99% of these are fake but this is what made motion/double exposure photography awesome. this made photography original and creative. you dont get these results anymore unless you have an old format/film camera. great stuff. really fun to do.

I do believe in ectoplasm because ive seen it first hand at materialization seances....HOWEVER im sure there was a worldwide shortage of cheesecloth during the Victorian Spiritualist heyday. Some of the photos they tried to pass off as genuine are just rediculous.

Some of these photos came from the Hamilton Family fonds held by the University of Manitoba Archives. There are over 700 seance photos taken by Dr. T.G. Hamilton from approximately 1918 to 1935 that are available for viewing on the Archives' website, in case anyone is interested.

@bluesfashion Usually cheesecloth or chiffon sometimes muslin. It is packed up tightly and placed inside the mediums vagina or anus (hence the smells people report being like human fluids). Helen Duncan actually swallowed the material and then regurgitated it during the seance!

During the seance the medium removes the material and manipulates it to fool gullible sitters.

Wow...i never thought little extra things in pictures could be anything........sometimes it looks like smoke, or blurred, or colored spots, or like orbs (those i used to think just dust floating around) But i am beginning to think that some of my pictures might have something else in them!!!
