The game play is fundamentally the same as its predecessors. Some new moves here and there but its nothing too far out from previous generations. Yes most fans consider MH3 THE sequel to all Monster Hunters, it has a lot of PlayStation players cheesed that this one suddenly turns into a Nintendo exclusive. The graphics are the most notable improvement. The best thing IMO is you can play with 3 other friends. That and i love the concept of hunting monsters and creating weapons/armor from them.

slash axe, nice combo move but slow. can swith from axe to sword, sword to axe and release gun attack

believe it or not Kurupekko is one of my Top 3 fave new monsters. #1 Ragiakurusu, #2 Kurupekko, #3 Buruborosu. Simply Amazing Game. I HAVE to Reserve a copy next year(it comes out in the U.S. and PAL on March 2010!)

They wont be in this one. Capcom is only keeping like 5 or 6 old monsters. Diablos, Khezu, Rathalos, Rathian, Felyne, and Melynx. I might have missed one but im 100% positive that those guys are returning.
