i think a rts could carry the storyline farther very effectivley for after halo3 use those units and everything to attack reach again and to take the covinnet planets the halo story line can go so much farther and it should go back and forth of rts and first person

It was supposed to be a RTS game on the PC. Then MS made them develope the game exclusively for the XBox and the RTS element went out the window. You cant do these games on a console. Idiot.
The biggest upset about Halo Wars is that it's not that faithful to the Halo Universe. Just from playing the demo i ran into many plotholes. This is a good RTS, but a bad Halo adaption.

its very upsetting that this isnt a first person game, if its gonna be RTS they should at least incorporate a mode where you can click on one of your characters and use him in first person mode, maybe be able to switch from RTS to first persone just by clicking on any member of your group.

Ok everyone who doesn't know here is the deal. Back when Halo: Combat Evoloved was being developed microsoft and bungie saw it to be a FULL TIME RTS GAME! But as they were developing it. It changed into a 3rd person shooter and then the 1st person juggernaut that you know today. So shut up and grow up if you hate halo wars for beng and rts then wait till it comes out for cutscenes videos so you know the story. Or suck it up and play it. God your such little kids.

It was supposed to be a RTS game on the PC. Then MS made them develope the game exclusively for the XBox and the RTS element went out the window. You cant do these games on a console. Idiot.

The biggest upset about Halo Wars is that it's not that faithful to the Halo Universe. Just from playing the demo i ran into many plotholes. This is a good RTS, but a bad Halo adaption.

this completely destroy the base story of the first halo. He mentioned that he introduced the flood in this game, but yet 20 years later(in-game) the marines were freaked out whe the flood were introduced

when Halo was first in production they wanted it to be a RTS. they then changed it to a first person shooter. they are finally getting aound to what they wanted Halo to be like.

I played the demo, and it was all right. Not impressed with it. I thought Halo Wars would get me into the RTS genre, but I was wrong. I'll skip Halo Wars and go for Halo: ODST.

My God, you are such a twat. I was talking about that the Halo Wars didn't get myself, personally, into the Real Time Strategy genre. Normally, I don't play that kind of game genre, so I was hoping that Halo Wars would get me into the genre. It didn't. I just don't like RTS games, and possibly never will. So I reccomend you watch what you say and assume.

It looks nice... i couldnt stand the controls adapted for Command and Conquer : TW... of this is similar (in playing) to CC it should be a great game.

its very upsetting that this isnt a first person game, if its gonna be RTS they should at least incorporate a mode where you can click on one of your characters and use him in first person mode, maybe be able to switch from RTS to first persone just by clicking on any member of your group.
