It's great to hear that you want to get into Harvest Moon, but you should know that you can't buy "Harvest Moon: Magical Melody" for DS. It's for the Wii in Europe, and for the GameCube (and soon the Wii, too) in North America. However, there are several more video games in the HM series - totally different games, but following the same general concept of farming and marriage life - including some for DS. For example: Harvest Moon DS, DS Cute, Island of Happiness... Good luck finding one. ^^

I always liked this point of the game, as well as the Birth scene. ^^ So realistic yet in a simple cute way. Sorry, but there are currently no online or PC Harvest Moon games. However, the series spans many consoles besides GameCube/Wii:

Aha well, I live on the ocean side thing, and plant my crops near the river cause it has good soil. So you should just do that, but when you have a barn, you have to BUY property from the wood work shop with Joe, Kurt, and Woody. & the marriage thing, don't worry about it, at first, I was married with Ray and liked Joe too, and once I married Ray, things didn't feel right, so when I married Joe, I got a GREAT life, just go with the flow and see who you like most =] & cheats you can look them up.

~30 Notes (necessity debated; still unsure what the verdict was on that, but I'd do it just in case)

~Remember that Jamie is a special case with some difficult extra prerequisites... (see Jamie wedding vid)

Actually, it's supposed to be 20 days. xP It may happen a bit more or less, but it should be as soon as possible if you've been paying attention to him (talking every day, maybe try a gift), keeping his hearts at 10 (or whatever you had when you married him). Good luck!

Besides MM, there's AWL (original A Wonderful Life, for boys) and AnWL (Another Wonderful Life, for girls) for GameCube. ^^ I rented AnWL and personally didn't like it because of its dreary graphics compared to this one (you know, they're like REALISTIC, so dreary! xD I'm just weird), but I've heard it's a great game. =D Good luck!
