  • Never seen a grapple set up like that, definately a new take on it. How do you like it?

  • @Afitlife1988 It works really well, prevents getting holes in the top of the bale.

  • why is the end open??

  • @passipassi100 If you're talking about the end away from the machine, it's not. There is an extra bale on the end so the machine has something to push against.

  • @maceyday ok thx

  • @maceyday ok thx!

    ps. nice dog

  • what sort of ford loader is that?

  • @rafathegafa11 It is a Versatile 276 Bidirectional.

  • @maceyday thanks for the info, never seen one before. Do you use much as a regular tractor? how long would it take to drop the loader and put the three point linkage on?

  • @rafathegafa11 It works a lot better as a frontend loader - just because the articulated steering makes the hitch end swing around. But it's nice to have one machine for both uses. It only takes a couple minutes to drop the loader off or reattach it. The three point hitch can stay connected all the time.

  • @rafathegafa11 This is a video of a different model, but it's the same process: watch?v=A1aFZk_pwDs

  • i like a anderson wrapper the best

  • you almost made some doglage!!

  • Awesome! I want one of those things so bad!!! It would have saved me alot of money this year...

  • we always use a dry bale on the ends of our tubes and never have any problems with rotting. we bale our silage bales at 45 to 50%

    moisture

  • @farmmo4ever your moisture is too high you can't get very good protien with that high moisture

  • @kinburncattle yes you can

  • how much did that go for?

  • nice dog barking. :p

  • Good video! Just one question though: How do you seal the end of the tube when you're wrapping them and when the tube is opened in winter time?

  • On these tubes, we cut a large circle out of some heavier plastic that we had left from our big silage bagger and tucked it around the end of the first and last bales before wrapping them. Some people just put a dry bale on the ends and that is supposed to seal the tube.

When we feed them in winter, we won't need to reseal the tube because the bales will have fermented and stabilized.

  • @maceyday we bailed weeds and silage wraped them we cut hay with a haybine and follow it with a tl100 nh and a nh bailer
