Review on Milk Of Magnesia as a PRIMER and very small Sephora haul

I just bought the MOM today, and im really excited after seeing this video, although I have a different question than your video. Instead of using it as a Primer, I have extremely oily skin, with mild breakouts, but they also turned into scars. Im still young though! :D

Would it be safe if i went about doing my regular routine and THEN applying this MOM? Also, in the morning, heading to school and all, can i just spalsh some water on my face, apply the MOM and then my makeup foundation?

It isn't alcohol in the Milk of Magnesia. It is just Magnesium Hydroxide and water. The thing that causes the drying is the saline content.

Random fact: I started using this few years ago as an oily faced thirteen year old. Also as a base for eye shadow. Ended up getting stuck in a rain storm with out an umbrella, and when i finally got to a safe dry place, my hair my clothes, everything on me was drenched and ruinned :[

But my face? No, my face was perfection! Eyeshadow, liquid eyeliner, EVERYTHING stayed perfectly in place!

Can you wear MOM without adding makeup on top? I do not wear makeup, but have very oily skin, especially in the summer. I would love to try this, but only if it would work without makeup over top of it.

@klmk1984 oh yeah it dries clear so there is NO need at all to add makeup. I have been using it daily lately cause my skin is nuts and changes A LOT I go from oily to dry..... you dont need a lot at all and you will know if you used too much cause it will leave a white cast on the skin.

I know I am late, lol, but let me tell you, this is the SH**!!!!!!! Went to my famous dollar store to buy makeup, they have a really good selection not only the very cheap brands, BUT they don't have primer and primers just do NOT last for my oily skin. Found MOM vids and i already had a huge bottle in my medicine cabinet. lol....I tried it, wearing it now, AWESOME and I am almost 46 and STILL have oily skin.

No it does not contain alcohol. Alcohol can be an irritant to the stomach, it doesn't make any sense to put alcohol in a medicine that is designed to sooth upset stomach. If the alcohol content of this is higher or close to rubbing alcohol, people who use this medicine would get drunk pretty easily....... The drying sensation you experienced is the absorbent property of the magnesium hydroxide, therefore don't use it on dry areas of your face.

You have it? hmmm see it was working great right after I had my daughter I am nearing the end of my 5 years and my skin is just getting worse and worse. It could be cause of the lack of hormones now IDK or an over load of hormones like a dr told me I have no clue I just hope it helps. Do u get ur monthly? I havent for 5 years LOL! No more bed rest 3days a month and no more projectile vomiting either ive had it now for exactly 2years and i can safely say its the best thing ive every done. Being I havent gotten a period for so long I am going to keep it out 3-6 months to get back on track and see what happens with my skin if it gets better then I am going to change my BC method if not I am going to get another 1 so we shall see. @goldenappleoferis i literally had to be carried to the bathroom it made me that ill the doctors at work used to keep me in and just knock me out for a day to let me sleep most of it away then they would send me home sometimes if it was really bad my dad would drive the 3hours to where i live and stay with me to look after me thats how bad it was and i was on a shit tonne of meds that were starting to irritate the lining of my stomach so i jumped at this when it was offered to me

Some doctors wont give a patient an IUD unless they have 1 or more kids. I think it has something to do with the chance of it making you sterile. I am not sure. I cant wait to get it OUT LOL!
