so where would we get a oil from now there's only so much and solar goes so far. Not to hate on the idea i love the idea but what about the variables thats my question
That's right Obama, it IS opur moral obligation. Stop spreading the pizza rumor, If Obama changes American standards ,it will be the biggest move in American leadership toward sustainable resources solutions, And HEY
It could even make America more competitive and give everyone there a warm fuzzy feeling in their stomaches
The president of the USA just had pizza flown to him from across the country some 1,500 miles. If he really was concerned about global warming, why not order pizza in D.C. instead?

Sounds AWESOME!! Great nifty!! Despite Obama's WONDERFUL words - HOPE doesn't power our country. COAL, OIL, NATURAL GAS and NUCLEAR engergy - since he is opposed to all of the above mentioned - HOPE must be the only option Obama has until this AMBIGUOUS "future" energy he mentioned arrives. Maybe I can't "imagine" HOPE but I can imagine NOT HAVE POWER!
(((((HEY! ALL YOU ALBERT EINSTEINS OUT THERE!!!)))))
Lol, you must be one of those Albert Einsteins. My friend the obvious is that we won't have a Planet to live on, where you can drive your V8 SUV and Where you can use COAL, OIL AND NATURAL GAS ENERGIES.
Obviously I AM NOT an Einstein cause I can't figure out what you said and how it speaks to our powering our country NOW!! While we are waiting for these ambiguous technologies to develop. What we DO KNOW is that those things DON'T EXIST in enough efficient capacities - MAYBE one day but not today. So re-read my msg then yours and see why yours makes NO SENSE in context. But then again you are voting for Obama.
No, Im voting McCain, I want them to bomb Iran and screw edjewkation and the health system and any underlying issues at hand. For the energy part it is unequivocal that you bring up such absurdities. Have you ever heard of solar, wind, hydrogen powered entities. They are very high capacity energies. Coal, Oil and Natural Gas are not the way to go. Nuclear might be an alternative for the moment. As for offshore drilling its just a short time solution.
Dude. I AM VOTING McCAIN!! You lose out when you don't do your own research and listen to biased news and spin docs. About the other stuff - I'm with you! BUT I think you are not understanding the scale and scope of what is needed to power a MASSIVE country of over 300 million people covering 3,537,441 square miles. Wind, solar and ESPECIALLY hydrogen are great news stories but NOT enough. RIGHT NOW! For possibly decades.
Why isn't this on his site? (or if it is, why isn't it obvious?) This pretty much answers the questions of where the $150 billion is going. While I doubt that we'll be completely rid of foreign oil in four years, I believe that reducing consumption is the answer, not increasing supply (ex: drilling in alaska)
