I was there that night just the best concert i have ever seen played for nearly 4 hrs!!! ... gr8 song one of my favs haunting and hypnotic you Rock Robert Smith
Wow! They even have a Roland JC-120 on stage! They really went all out to get the original sound! I bet that's Smith's white Jazzmaster from the early days too!
Awesome song, I remember when they opened their show at Islington Academy with this in Dec 2003. I thought my birthday had come early....actually it had I was 23 at midnight soon after the gig.
why is jason POUNDING that snare? it's like he isn't even listening to mix and has no "touch". hopefully they can mix his snare down in the dvd release.
@4everliam You're not digging him for something that he's not actually doing? How odd. Here's a clue, watch another video of this song being performed at 'Reflections' and see if you can work it out for yourself.
@JubeProductions Are you sure the snare sounds like that because he's 'pounding' it? Would you like to elaborate? I can tell from your choice of words that you know very little and are just aligning yourself with a pathetic internet clique.
it sounds like that because there are 2 snares. the electronic snare (at the begining its by its self) then the natural snare. it sounded great at the show.
genial, una de las mejores canciones
