Hi, for 501 owners do you have half pedal?, I already have a clavinova but im moving to a 501 because among other things, I want a half damper pedal, pls confirm me this in order to get it. Thanks.
@Aiontron I have the Yamaha CVP501 and I do believe that it does have a damper pedal. It has 3 pedals, so I'm guessing it does. I mainly just use the sustain pedal. It's an excellent piano and I don't have any regrets about it yet!
@vidstar7 I am looking at purchasing a brand new one at Best Buy. I don't really want a used one because you can never really trust the seller. I know, these pianos are not cheap.
If I were going to purchase a piano, it would be Yamaha. Synthesizer would be Roland.
@vidstar7 That is very true. Yamaha is quality. I don't think that I would settle for anything other than a Yamaha. I think this is the one I will purchase though. I was looking at the Yamaha DGX 640, but this one is better for tons of obvious reasons! :)
Ich hab ein CVP 407......aber meins sieht irgendwie moderner aus.....und mein display is auch besser.....kann es sein, dass das 501 älter ist als das 407?? O.o
Und alles wirklich live gespielt. Ich muss immer lachen, wenn auf der Yamaha Homepage die Vorführer ein Keyboard vorführen, welches nicht angeschlossen ist an Strom und Verstärker oder wenn sie andere Tasten spielen, als man hört ud ähnliche Dinge......

I looked on Ebay which normally has the best prices for used stuff and......these pianos are not cheap.
Yamaha is quality though.

@Prince1of2Persia3 No. The 407 is older than the 501. The 500 series is their newest/best brand of piano.
