I had only seen her on few interviews and videos where she never really smiled that much. I assumed that she was just so deep, serious and maybe a bit sad. Much to my surprise, it is just the opposite - she seems extremely happy in most of her videos on YouTube!!! How lovely and refreshing!!

She was beautiful and signed my book.I was on an excursion from Uralla Central school to the big city of Sydney and Fleetwood Mac Santana were playing at the Sydney showgrounds.I sneaked out of my room and went to the concert.No teacher or minder checked to see if I was ok but I had it all worked out weeks before.I didnt get caught but coming back at 1.30 am in a taxi to the Oriental Hotel in Kings Cross I felt an absolute star.

noticed your notes on the meaning of the lyrics-this was/is my favourite of all of Stevie's ballads, and because of that I sought out the meaning of the lyrics for this some years ago, I can't recall exact sources now, but I do recall finding out that this song was about Mick, that his wife was named Sara, and that Sara who was/is very close friends with Stevie actually sat at the piano with her when she was writing it. It was written ambiguously because of the affair Stevie was having with Mick

Stevie was having an affair with Fleetwood while he was married to Jenny Boyd, but that affair ended. less than a year later, fleetwood left his wife Jenny for Stevie's best friend Sara. But Stevie wasn't in love with Mick at all.. they both say it was a very bad mistake and were both very over it when it ended. mick was married to jenny when the affair w/stevie was taking place.
Stevie had an affair with Mick while he was married to Jenny Boyd. Then her best friend, model Sara Recor (married to music manager Jim Recor), fell for Mick began an affair with him while Stevie and Mick were together. They ultimately moved in together and married. Nicks felt betrayed, but Sara and Mick were in love and Sara says that Stevie and Mick weren't together when they began their affair, at least that is what Mick told Sara. "Sara" was written with Sara sitting by Stevie at the piano.
Anyway, I remembered where I read the information about the meaning of the song-it was Mick Fleetwood's autobigraphy: "Fleetwood: My Life and Adventures in Fleetwood Mac". I do believe this to be a more reputable source than you :-P

@CatchingMoonlight The lyrics of their songs are not their strong points... I agree with Christine McVeigh when she said on a documentary that Stevie's lyrics were "obscure at best"... The beauty of their songs are in their melodies and sweet sounding guitars that Lyndsay produces

In 1977 I met stevie Nicks on Bondi Beach in Sydney. She was beautiful and signed my book.I was on an excursion from Uralla Central school to the big city of Sydney and Fleetwood Mac Santana were playing at the Sydney showgrounds.I sneaked out of my room and went to the concert.No teacher or minder checked to see if I was ok but I had it all worked out weeks before.I didnt get caught but coming back at 1.30 am in a taxi to the Oriental Hotel in Kings Cross I felt an absolute star.

Favorite group of all time, hands down the best... i was born in 85' and have many memories of my parents listening to fleetwood as a child. I still thank them for that.

noticed your notes on the meaning of the lyrics-this was/is my favourite of all of Stevie's ballads, and because of that I sought out the meaning of the lyrics for this some years ago, I can't recall exact sources now, but I do recall finding out that this song was about Mick, that his wife was named Sara, and that Sara who was/is very close friends with Stevie actually sat at the piano with her when she was writing it. It was written ambiguously because of the affair Stevie was having with Mick

Stevie was having an affair with Fleetwood while he was married to Jenny Boyd, but that affair ended. less than a year later, fleetwood left his wife Jenny for Stevie's best friend Sara. But Stevie wasn't in love with Mick at all.. they both say it was a very bad mistake and were both very over it when it ended. mick was married to jenny when the affair w/stevie was taking place.

Then her best friend, model Sara Recor (married to music manager Jim Recor), fell for Mick began an affair with him while Stevie and Mick were together. They ultimately moved in together and married. Nicks felt betrayed, but Sara and Mick were in love and Sara says that Stevie and Mick weren't together when they began their affair, at least that is what Mick told Sara. "Sara" was written with Sara sitting by Stevie at the piano.
