@Moysauce22. If you have nothing good to say, then don't say it. Nobody likes a troll who has no life whatsoever and has stooped so low that he can only feel good by insulting someone who he knows is better than himself at something. You only troll on the internet because if you tried it in real life you would get your ass kicked. As for myself, i thought he did exceptional.
If I were you, I wouldn't dare put these up regardless of how long you've been working on them. Displaying poor performance only gives you a shitty reputation and doesn't help anyone at all.
The texas all state first chair sax player was chris... idk his last name but he was from Hebron High School near dallas. That kid is a bad ass. He was the best person there. I myself got 7th.
Made first chair region, first band. Moving on to area held at U of H this year. The 3rd etude that was troubling me before really got pwnd by me lol. Practice gets you everywhere. I hope I do well. January 10th! Gunnin' for you!!!
Any tips on measure 11 with the 16ths, begining with: (low) E, (high) D, C sharp, D? This measure has been giving me trouble, I'm playing at about 120 on a tenor saxophone, and I can't seem to hit them up to tempo. Any help is appreciated, thanks.
This is one of my etudes I've played the past week for my lessons at college (along with #24). Remember that there are articulations that you are missing that you should really focus on. Slow it back down, and nail the articulations. Also, don't forget the dynamics! It sounded like you played the whole thing at forte, and there are some dynamics that you're missing. You have a great tone quality, though, and good vibrato. Keep up the good work!
Some of your articulations are unclear. Every once in awhile I can't quite tell if you're tonguing where you're supposed to. Other than that and a few tempo fluctuations, you're doing quite well. Sorry if it seems like i'm trying to rag on you. I think you're doing quite well at this point and i really hope that you continue to post videos of your progression. good luck going into region.
I have this one memorized already! :) Now that third etude is gonna kill me. :( I really gotta practice. But I pretty much got this one on lock and at tempo. :D
i appreciate it you makign this video im a senior at lcm highschool and this is a piece for our all region we usualy get cd's but this year we have been informed we wont so i thank you for posting this video and giving us and understandment of the articulations

i would have to agree with the comment below.
working on response of notes and making sure
you're not backing off on air is something to suggest.
just blow straight through all of those passages.

You need to have more of a distinction between your staccato and everything else. Also make sure not to cut off the end of phrases.

If i get enough reqest, I may re-record this "a tempo." It needs to be about 5-10 beats faster.
