  • to put it in perspective---Being airborne with no exits, there are simply no alternatives--so flight attendants have the highest life-threatening risk job in the world, even more than soldiers in a combat zone. Think about it-they are in the air with average of 3 flight attendants against the odds of plane of 250 people(it may not be that extreme) but given the position and orientation of their vantage point they don't have a prayer if they are attacked or experience plane malfunction and crash.
