  • @tcdkal how is being athiest immoral ,you do not seem to have a basic understanding of what moriality is !

  • Speaking scientifically, "Theories that are yet to be proven" is a contradiction. A Scientific theory is backed by enough evidence to be considered true.

  • haha. Scientology does suck.

  • I would be perfectly willing to let religious people and our religious government alone if they only left me alone but that doesn't seem to ever happen!

  • @tcdkal Yeah, it's more moral and logical to believe in a sadistic invisible sky daddy who demanded the death of tens of millions of people and a self-amputation promoting cosmic Jewish zombie who was his own father than not to. /sarcasm

Search this video: "Top Ten Reasons Why the Bible is Repulsive"

  • @projectlevydelta " I can be loving and caring and still treat people like dirt." ROTFL!!!! NO YOU CAN'T! By definition you would not be loving and caring if you treated people like dirt!

Why should belief matter so damn much? If he wanted to be believed then why is he so hidden? He provides no evidence for his existence and supposedly creates a universe that is self sustaining that makes it appear as if there is no need for a god. Why help? REAL love is unconditional.

  • @projectlevydelta Many people, even "born-again Christians" supposedly know what good and evil is and yet they sin anyways. And it is kind of fucked up to withhold information that could determine where you end up for eternity. And it kind of makes me wonder why god couldn't give this info in the first place and prevent sin on earth and suffering. Maybe he should have tried that instead of flooding the world?

  • we can all be friends =D but seriously these debates over this video is just pathetic. why does it piss you off on what other people believe?

  • @wonkerjk Their beliefs don't piss me off. The damage they do by following their beliefs fanatically pisses me off.

  • @theREALiceveela Wow, please learn some reading comprehension. I said that your tactics are a typical Christian response when they are backed in a corner. Not that all Christians are backed in a corner. Half-ass excuse? It is a common logical inconsistency in your worldview.

  • @kubush

this coming from a atheist perspective, someone who has no logical arguement, yours is a arguement of a atheist who is backed into a corner. the inconsistancy is that your arguemnt can be refuted by a 4 year old with a single question. "if the world was perfect, why would there be the need of a god in the first place?"

ooops, blew your arguement out of the water...

  • @theREALiceveela Well, if you think like a 4 year old I guess that is the best you can do. Are you suggesting that we only need god because our world isn't perfect? We're just sort of using him to fill the cracks? A perfect world would at least make the "design" argument have some validity to it.

Another thing. Isn't "heaven" perfect? Are you saying that there is no need for god in heaven? So many things wrong with your 4 year old argument but I'm just running out of space.

  • @kubush

offside of the ad hominem attacks, if you are going to speak at all, debate the subject, now thats that is over and said. heaven is perfect yes, is there a need for god in heaven? thats a philosophical argument that can be argued until the great schisms erupt. so i cannot answer that.

the earth is not heaven, so that argument is actually a dumb one. and using him to "fill in the cracks" is not whats happening, besides, evolutionist also use evolution to "fill in the cracks"

  • @theREALiceveela 1) Learn what an ad hominem actually is. 2) I am debating the subject. Why you think otherwise is beyond me. 3) Your question implied that a perfect world would not need a god, as if that was supposed to blow my argument out of the water. So when I said, "what about heaven?", you say you can't answer that and that it's a dumb argument because earth isn't heaven, even though I never claimed that it was. Logic isn't on your side.

  • @theREALiceveela Things don't exist because we "need" them to. They simply exist or they don't. If god created everything perfect, then there would be no suffering, no need for him to alleviate any suffering but "not needing" him wouldn't negate his existence.

    Try again.

  • @kubush

so your arguement is based on pure bias, i would like to see any real argument you have for your topic, for now you are just drifting between ad hominem attacks and half-ass based arguements which a child can refute.

try again, and good luck with it next time, a lack of a argument would be the better argument in my opinion.

  • @theREALiceveela "i cannot answer that." That isn't a refutation. That is ignorance.

So you have no real response to what I wrote. You just go off accusing me falsely of ad hominem attacks and "half-ass" arguments that you can't even begin to address because you know you got backed into a corner. I used a logical argument to destroy your notion of God and the best you can do is to ignore it a pretend like you've won. LOL. You're pathetic.

  • "and theories that are yet to be proven"? Theories are models that are backed up by facts and evidence. In science, a theory is the highest form of knowledge, so to make that statement does not make sense.

  • I love how the Christian and Athiest can get along but the poor Scientologist gets made fun of. What an ignoramous you are. (:

  • I do not understand why people believe that God is proven wrong, and that people like Hitler were Christian. Even if people like him were Christian they were not following their religion at all, and should be declared as "the loons of their religion" in my opinion. Also, there is no proof at all that God does not exist, yet there is no proof at all that He does, that is why it is called "faith".

  • And for those who believe that Earth was not created in 6 days, think about it. Maybe to the ones that wrote Genesis 6 days was thousands of years. They had different calenders, people almost never think of that (not to mention in some places a night could last several months). I myself, do not believe any religion is bad, but there are crazy people that are of that religion. Also, not to say atheists are bad, but in America, most people do not believe in God, and there is a higher crime rate.

  • @caroljean1960 lol, america is a religious country, and you say most of them arent haha lol

  • @caroljean1960 No, Genesis is pretty clear that it is referring to a 24 hour day..."and the morning and the evening were the first day..."

And America is 85% Christian. Get your facts straight plz.

  • @caroljean1960 or ''stupidity''

  • @caroljean1960 Sure, there is no proof that fairies don't exist either but I don't see you making the argument that people need to have faith to not believe in fairies.

  • @caroljean1960 "there is no proof at all that God does not exist, yet there is no proof at all that He does, that is why it is called "faith".

That's also why it is called delusional, dangerous, ridiculous, retarded, irrational,...

  • So many intolerant Christians hating atheists in here

  • Poor sad athiests think Thierry above everyone

  • It's funny how people keep arguing. "Keep thy religion to thyself." Great man said that...I got my own "religion" since the rest blows.

  • @tcdkal I guess it's common sense to be moral because you think that god has created a place for you that you will be tortured for eternity, then to just be moral because it is common sense to be so...

  • Oh I hope that the Atheist is the PC

  • @chyrd i hate mac's, and i dont know about you, but i really do hope the atheist is the PC.(except for me its a good thng)

  • @tigermantigerman1 everyone knows that Linux would be the atheist

  • @chyrd Funny that you say that because I believe the creator of Linux, Linus Torvalds, is an atheist.

  • :D yay!!! they settled their differences!

  • Yet if saint peters basilica was a Scientologist church, while Tom Cruise was a christian, you'd be declaring: Christianity sucks!, the reality is that religion sucks, no matter how you wrap it.

  • @tcdkal You are wrong. Atheism is honest, moral and innocent. We are sure not the ones flying planes into buildings

  • hitler was raised christian

  • I hope you understand what a scientific theory actually is.....its not something that ever becomes a fact its a theory because it always allows for new evidence to come in that could potentially falsify it no matter how true it is.....although im guessing it was just said in the way it was to be a little facetious to both sides.

  • @AbusiveAntitheist A scientific theory can easily be a fact. For instance the theory of plate tectonics is a fact so is the theory of evolution. A theory doesn't have to be 100% proven to be a fact since the only thing that can be 100% is some concepts in mathematics..

  • @paldepind I think you're mistaking observable phenemonom with theory. We can observe evolution, it is a fact. The theory of evolution by common descent always allows new evidence to come in that WHILE HIGHLY UNLIKELY could possible falsify it . It is considered a scientific truth because it would be so unlikely that it is wrong after all this evidence we have uncovered that points to evolution. But science doesnt work on presuppositions it is modest, despite how certain we are of evolution.

  • @AbusiveAntitheist I know the difference between an observable phenemonom and a scientific theory and I don't see why you think I am mixing them up. Tbh I don't really get the point of what you're saying. As far as I can tell we both agree that it is extremely unlikely that evolution is wrong, and that we therefore can consider it being a fact. And since evolution is a theory you've just said that a theory can be a fact ind the same way as the theory of plate tectonics is a fact.

  • To me, spirituality is a life-long search we never really complete. There are no answers, there are only questions. And I strongly distrust any one or any organization who claim to have ALL the answers. I don't think they're even asking the right questions.

Likewise, science is becoming rigid and narrow-minded. There is a growing pressure for uniformity of thought where dissent is shouted down without a fair hearing. Science, too, is becoming institutionalized and inflexible.

    So I search ...

  • @Kaalec

If there are only questions and no answers, then I'd rather make laboratories and scientists whom search for the cures for cancer tax exempt instead. There are people searching for the answers we need, and not the answers which are currently ( and often infinitely) unanswerable, I'd rather help the former. Not that stoning witches to death in Saudi Arabia or apostates in Afghanistan isn't amusing to watch.

  • @Harizl I agree with you 100%. In science, there are answers. In spirituality, there are, as you say, only unanswerable questions.

  • @Kaalec

    I use the one-day-to-live mentality.

If such questions are very unlikely to ever be answered and such concepts are not likely to exist, if I only had one day left to live, I wouldn't waste my time on searching for highly unlikely things . Why should I waste any of my time then?

  • @Harizl That's a good way to live. I suppose since, as far as we know, humans are the only animal capable of asking "Where did I come from and where am I going?", it understandable that we ask it. But I agree that we probably spend too much time worrying about life's meaning (or lack thereof) rather than living it. May this day bring you peace.

  • @Kaalec

I don't wonder about it at all, I don't worry about things that have no relevence.

I do however wonder about the well being of children brought up to hate jews or think the internet or public school is a thing to be avoided until they are 30.

If we had longer political terms to actually reform anything important or could do it without fearmongering upon the dimwitted and uninformed holding back such reform, then what a country we could be..

  • @Harizl Indeed, my fellow Canadian, what a country indeed. Fortunately there are people like you who espouse tolerance and will pass it on to the next generation, as I will. Or at least try. Hold your light high, there is much darkness around us.

  • @Kaalec

Oh no, I'm not for tolerance at all, I'm with the mindset of Sam Harris: We need to hold peoples beliefs and actions to societal laws and basic logic and evidence. To me there is no unbiased logical reason for a burka to be fine to wear to the bank, but a balaclava to be jail-time. Same with evidence-based education, not that the Jews don't* poison wells...

I'm tolerant of sane people, if there was one young earther no one would take him serious, it's irrelevant to me there are many.

  • @Harizl Allow me to clarify what I mean by tolerance. I mean that you won't hate or dislike or disrespect someone just because they happen to belong to a particular ethnic or gender group. You will judge people by what they say and what they do and what they espouse, not by what colour they are. That is what needs to be passed on. We must judge individuals, not groups.

  • @Kaalec

I will judge persons by their beliefs, evidence, intentions, justification and actions, but I will also say the same about groups in general. I'm not about to judge a suicide bomber without including his equally-minded friends.

We need to judge them for what they are and what they do, not for what they are labeled as. Round up the sleeper cell, not their toddlers.

@video A scilon would ever bring up their religion like that. As comparable to being cool. They know* it's cool.

  • Ya know, it's funny. In all the discussions I have ever had about religion, it has been only the self-professed religious who have accused me, by association, of being a rapist, pedophile or other sociopathic criminals.

They are also the only ones ever to threaten me with bodily harm or outright death. Especially those who identify themselves as "Christian". I think I'll talk to the atheists, they don't want to kill anyone for what they think.

  • is'nt kinda like how nazi's imposed their agenda.

  • I don't think you quite got what a theory is.

  • not everybody is by definition evil.

everyone sins, but many people do many more good things than sins

    good person= 12+(-4)= positive #

    bad= 3+(-9)= negative number

  • I'm sorry, I really thought the last sentance I put in my comment would clarify that it's sarcastic. Though I knew I had to at least put that one in, cause there are enough christians who kind of do believe everything I said before it. Oh, do keep in mind that many fundies use other math:

    12+(-4) =

    heaven if you accept jezus

    hell if you don't

Several Christians honastly believe that accepting jezus is (almost) the only criterium for eternal reward or punishment. It's just their belief...

  • o srry its harder to catch sarcasm when ur looking at text

    nvm then :)

and btw many Christians beleive that all good people and all Christians get into heaven as well :)

personally, i like that idea as well

  • thats one thing everyone can agree on

  • atheist is so right beacause i mean come a i dobut that book is even that old and also if god was real how many of you christan have prayed and he never came hello wake up he isn't real

  • tcdkal..... are u really that stupid? if ure sugesting 90 or more percent of scientist are stupd? finders of cures for desieses and technology which u used to wright your comment.( sarcasm alert) then either they stole ALL of their ideas from christians who are so much smarter and they just took the credict. yea right.

  • the people who made my laptop (my technology as u so referred to it) are not atheist, they are decent human beings - u didnt have to insult them.

maybe ur OPINION of religion is that ur against it, and its ur opinion & ur entitled to it, just like my OPINION that athiests are among the likes of paedophiles, serial killers & rapists..!

u have ur theory on atheists, and i have mine

  • Yeah atheist likes Hitler, The 25% of priest who molest children and people who kill in the name of God,- oh and the dark ages where christians killed anyone who wasnt a christian and that estimated oh about at 75 million people killed for a religion..... Oh wait, none of those people are Atheist.....

  • Oooooh and the majority of nazis that were either christian or roman catholic, this all falls under atheism right?

  • dude, i never said christianity is right either, but i was commenting on the atheism bit of your video.

plus i dunno where u got ur statistics that 25% of priests molest children - i always reckoned it was higher

  • @RobtheBig nazis were fucking pshycotic, demon raising, dead-bringin back to life scary basterds ever! they tried toopen a portal to hell! they were fundamentaly christians, but with a sliht after shock of cult, and haiti curses

  • @foreverspagetti

    You're a retard.

  • @nikc1234 no, thats nazis you dumb-ass, read a book, and stop thinking that politically correct answer is always the right one.

  • @foreverspagetti "your a retard" is politicly correct? You are aware that reading a book doesnt make you intelligent?

  • @RobtheBig + hitler was not an atheist... he was a roman catholic... secondly: why would an atheist consider the jewish religion as a virus? some1 who doesnt believe in god doesnt consider people of a particular religion infected

  • treating a group of people like trash because they beleive something different from you makes you worse than what you consider an atheist to be

  • I guess its more logical to think the earth was created in 6 days and that an almighty God had to rest on the 7th day. Oh and believe in talking snakes and giants and that the sun revolves around the earth.

  • @RobtheBig u my friend have a twisted sick ass mind,

hello i am recruiting for the curch of the turtle

join now and save your souls from an eternity of rolling on your back

the great turtle created the universe wich stands over the great sea of ice

he still now protects us from the ice giants and the blue pepole from the east.

  • @RobtheBig and 600 year old men building boats 137m long

  • How so? Are you saying logic sucks?

  • i agree with this video

  • I can't believe people argue on a joke vid.

  • (cont) their choice of religion doesnt concern you. its their business not yours. no one makes fun of you for being an atheist, mormon, pagan, wiccan, or whatever you choose. there are christians out there who are open minded and accept ppl for who they are. for the others who try to shove God down your throat fuck em. they will be judged. God told them to not use Him as a weapon. they know what their doing when they do it. and as you would like in return, be openminded and respectful.

  • lol as usual everyone sayin the bible isnt true. science doesnt prove anything false and vice versa. stories in the bible are not jus stories. you can find those in history books as well. all the battles that were recorded down in the bible were true. and if you know so much about the bible, atheists, how about you try to do some research instead of trying to jus read the bible. you might get somewhere. and why try to demean other beliefs. if u dont like it who gives a fuck. dont make fun of it.

  • Alright, scientology may suck. But they're helping out in the antipsychiatry movement so that makes them great in my book.

  • hahaha as a Christian I found this hilarious :P xD

  • This is so freakin' funny! I love atheist humor!

  • just saying that it says the christians learn everything from a book but so do atheists and at least christians can understand what they belive

  • but athiest have actual facts in there book and there book isnt written in a way that is like a fairytale

  • The bible is just a story where you take out little meanings and people build morals on.

    It's a story, nothing more.

  • what is written in the bible are facts, facts proved and by people from that time that lived and suffered by them selves. their not fairytales, most of them, are the stories of people that were in terrible situations and were saved by someone beyond natural forces, who they called God. How u can say now on your comfort and pretty good life that they were lying if u dont even know what they went through

  • So when the bible says in 1 Chronicles 16:30 "Tremble before him, all the earth! The world is firmly established; it cannot be moved" Meaning the earth doesn't move, I guess its a fact?

  • funny how u take a little part of the bible to try to make a nonsense point. U must know that the people who wrote those books did it in a totally different times compared to actual days. they wrote according to what the holy spirit inspired them and in a way they could understand. is that wrong to u to follow a way of life of sharing and been good to others? for real christians this way of life is not like a punishment ( looks like is the way u see it) is the way to live better in this world.

  • Oh the bible tells you to be Good Oh mmk. LIke in Deuteronomy 19:21 "And thine eye shall not pity; but life shall go for life, eye for eye, tooth for tooth, hand for hand, foot for foot." Proverbs 31:6 "Give beer to those who are perishing, wine to those who are in anguish" People who are perishing need beer. 1 Corinthians 14: 34 "let the women keep silence in the churches: for it is not permitted unto them to speak for it is shameful for a woman to speak in the church" Sexism yeah!

  • Leviticus 20:13: "If a man lies with a man as one lies with a woman, both of them have done what is detestable. They must be put to death; their blood will be on their own heads." Yeah kill homosexuals! Theres also ones that say kill sabbath breakers. Alot of good morals from that book.

  • Theres nothing wrong with wanting to live a life of good ( even though God says hes the only thing good and in Isaiah 64:6 "But we are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses are as filthy rags") but saying you get your goodness from a book that says that....forget about it.

  • ?? ur pointing a way of thinking for people of 2000 years ago. What we listen is not the man's word, is God's word, and the teaching that Jesus left to us. to love each other like ourselves, to put God in first after anything we are going to do.

Its like having a porpose in life, to try to be a better man or women than the one u hav been. Without it life just get simply and senseless. thats what people get wrong with real christians is for example, when we go to church....

  • we dont go because we hav to... we go because we need it, its like wen u eat, people eat beacuse they need to fill their body, and equals people listen to God's words to fill their souls, to try to find answers to their daily problems. and most of the times they do, i did, in most of the times i had problems

  • Let me quote Jesus: "Do not think that I came to bring peace on the earth; I did not come to bring peace, but a sword. For I came to set a man against his father, and a daughter against her mother, and a daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law; and a mans enemies will be the members of his household. He who loves father or mother more than Me is not worthy of Me." This is the peaceful message of "to love each other like ourselves"

  • yeah he said it, and even the people around him didnt understand too. Because most of the times he talked about thinks that didnt happend yet. like as we believe, he will come again like a judge and check all our actions through our life, thats why he says to put him first, beacuse our own actions are what is going to respond for us.

its like when he said that he can destroy the temple and rebuild it in 3 days, and people around him said that it was imposible....

  • abviously he was'nt talking about a temple made by man's hand...

  • Funny, I have a much harder time trying to decipher meaning out of the bible than I do with most science books. Heres a good list you could start with to enhance your understanding of science: Evolution for Dummies Archaeology for Dummies Astronomy for Dummies Biochemistry for Dummies Biology for Dummies Chemistry for Dummies Genetics for Dummies Physics for Dummies ..and many more. They're dumbed down but you should be able to take away more than you can from the bible.
  • What book? Atheists don't have any beliefs and thus there's nothing to really read about it. We simply don't believe the evidence for a god is sufficient to believe one exists. No useless dogma required.

  • im pretty sure most atheists dont know a thing about science but they just read it from a book

  • im pretty sure most christians dont know a thing about logic and common sence and they get all there information from a 2000 year old book

  • Yea we Christians are ignorant and lack all common sense and preach everything for the word of God because it says it is. Great insight assumption ;)

  • hmm. don't most school teach with textbooks? so all of a sudden you can't learn by books? how else exactly are you supposed to learn about relativity or quantum theory?

  • You don't usually refer back to a book from many centuries ago when you want to learn something about the physical world (perhaps a researcher in history would have such a use for a book, but we are talking about world views here, so that can be ignored). Furthermore, the books of religion are taken on faith, whereas you can be shown mathematical proofs, perform experiments, and actually do tests on the material presented in textbooks. This hopefully shows why your question was flawed.

  • Christianity has enslaved far more minds than Scientology. Also, an "atheist" by definition doesn't have to believe the things mentioned by the supposed atheist in this video. It's a disbelief in a god or gods. Thanks for failing.

  • my point wasnt that christianity is ok its supposed to just give the finger to scientology and to be funny but for some reason you cant take a joke and i guess athiest arnt very fond of science so my athiest in this video isnt realistic in this simple cartoon

  • oh my god! that was awesome!!!!!! i want to see this on t.v.

  • lmao that was funny

  • ah well that was disappointing :(

  • Theories that are yet to be proven? The definition of theory is that it is incredibly well substantiated. Relativity? A theory! Gravitation? A theory! Yes theories can be replaced, but are not destroyed. Newtonian mechanics still work in most everyday facets. Relativity just explains phenomena at velocities>.1c more accurately. Point: Evolution is fact.

  • @Desolateinfinity you dont scare me with ur big words! lol

  • okay lolz

  • LOL

I was not thinking that would happen...

  • well, christianity sucks more.

  • HaHaHa

  • haha

  • Loved the video..Funny and so true !!

  • Silly scientologists, a big king alien did not throw aliens into a volcano and harvest their souls...

  • silly scientologists, tricking people is for kids

  • But that sounds just as likely as Dirt Man and Rib woman and "Gandalf on the rag, who art in heaven" and his gay son who got his ass kicked.

  • Hah, just like in history. "The common enemy makes the people unite"

  • That was beautiful, even old adversaries like Christianity and Atheism can find common ground in the mutual hatred of cults like Scientology. Yeah bullshit.

  • It's wrong though, Christianity makes common cause with anybody who has faith against those who use reason. Christians tell us we have to respect the views of people of faith, which must include Scientologists. Faith is the common enemy of mankind. Nobody ever persecuted anybody in the name of doubt.

  • Actually Christians can't even make common cause with other Christian sects, let alone other religions entirely. Also people do get killed in the name of doubt... especially when people doubt someone's innocence.

  • I didn't say GET killed in the name of doubt I said persecuted in the name of doubt. People who doubt do not persecute those without doubts. It is those without doubts, those with faith in gods, dogmas, nations, parties or leaders who do the persecuting, both the fatal and genocidal and the social kind.

  • actually good, I am shocked

  • Lol that was pretty good

  • awesome

  • favourited.

  • hahaha!!!

  • haa! funny

  • Good message

  • funny & short

  • Atheism isn't a belief, but rather a lack of one. But even though you slightly misrepresented atheism, it's still funny. Good job.

  • Lmao, that was great. Scientology is insane.

  • Wow, Thats what atheists and christians should do.

  • that was actually better than i expected! pretty good animation! what program did you use?

  • hahaha thanks i used flash 8

  • how much did it cost?

  • it cost 600$ but i downloaded it 4 free theres tons of youtube vids that tell u how to download it for free jst type in flash 8 download use at own risk though
