Can someone explain me something... Do I need to play the game before I watch the movie, cause I watched the movie and well.. I didn't really like the story.. there was no big twist or a moment were you get really deep in the characters.. The cinematics and the fightswere awesome!!! but the story felt dissapointing.. I don't know if the games continue on the story, but well.. with so much fantasy why couldn't they make the story just as epic.

The memories were probably from the game Final Fantasy 7. Advent Children takes place two years after the events of the game.
