@g4macdad Dr. Paul would like to reinstate the Glass Steagall laws, hindering the banks abilities to gamble with their depositors monies. Also in a Paul presidency banks would know that there would be no bailouts for them curbing risky investments. It sounds simplistic that the free market will regulate itself but if the fed does not offer these safety nets on losses they will be much more careful with their risks.
