Hi, terrific achievement! I am trying something similar with Arduino Mega and 125 LEDs. Thanks to you, I have discovered the Qube editor. Looks great but could you please explain how you sync the editor with arduino? Their web is in German and doesn't seem for AT Mega 2560 specifically. Thanks a lot!
@berber1899 Sorry but I don't have any schematics. Keep in mind this is a project I made more than one year ago and since then put it in the corner to collect dust.
@berber1899 Sure, your arduino need something like a shift register or a darlington array driver (for example the ULN2803 I used) to control the individual rows and layers.
Do a google search on Led cube and arduino that's the way I put it al together.
@marlhunter I got a arduino mega any and have the wire in the the board but, i don't know how to control the each light. I only know how to control the each column as an a led. i have no resistors, all i have is an arduino mega, bread board and a computer. I will buy anything i have to, I AM SUPPLIED VIA EBAY!!!
@berber1899 You need to split up your cube in layers and per layer in individual columns. The layer must be controlled by something like a shift register or darlington array because your arduino can't deliver that much power.
For the rest do a google search on Led cube and arduino.

Take a look at the following files:
code.google.com/p/mh5cube/source/browse/trunk/mh5cube/MH5CubeEditor/SerialPort.cpp
code.google.com/p/mh5cube/source/browse/trunk/mh5cube/MH5CubeEditor/cubecommunication.cpp
code.google.com/p/mh5cube/source/browse/trunk/mh5cube/MH5CubeEditor/serialthread.cpp
They do all the communication with the cube through the com-port

Can you send me the schematic for the driver inputs and outputs and what not?
