This thing is kind of cool (no pun intended), but you've got to be kidding me. $300 for a table fan? Are you serious? Sounds like Dyson has reached the point where he thinks, if his name is on it, it has to be expensive. Somebody needs to look into if the Dyson company has a connection to BP in any way. If they're connected they could be trying to "buffer" the cost from their fiasco with the oil spill over here in the Gulf. What I find so funny is, this thing is being "marketed at foreigners.

That's why I use a simple $10 fan. It does the same job this $300 fan does and it shuts off when I turn the switch to OFF.

I can't believe someone actually bought one of these. Even if I had the money I'd be too a shamed to let anyone see that I over paid for a simple fucking FAN.

I would think it is worth more like $50 at the most. The unit I got is worth about 3.

I kinda figured a lot of people would likely be sent these fans for evaluation purposes in a real home or work environment. It's just inconceivable the market price on this thing is actually $300 US though!!
