@moceanu Everybody in the rest of the world is surprisingly quiet compared to groups of US people doing anything. Sometimes a good thing and sometimes a bad thing!
It's kind of cute how Paul is kind of protective of Josie, even though in the later episodes he makes fun of her more than anyone. He also pats her on the back when Tony introduces her to Mike.
i love this game cuz the suggestions are always so silly and random (eating his foot and doing aerobics classes) or they're really dodgy (grinding against people called J...)
i always start chuckling even before Charlie arrives cuz you know what's gonna happen when he does.
Yes indeed it was 1990, Friday the 16th of March,a ctually taken from a compilation edition of "Whose Line is it Anyway?" And, although I have this on DVD, I find myself having to watch it quite often, because it is a very good clip. I love Paul Merton, of course, hence my title. It's a shame this wasn't featured in the actually episode, though.
Wow Tony looks really slender and kind of tall (maybe I'm pushing it there!), perhaps when Ryan came in that's what made him look a bit opposite. But you've got to love Tony he's hilarious!
Why, sparksrule, do you feel Paul could never get on with anybody? Do you him overemotional or something? Well, he is a Cancerian, like myself, though I'm not really a believer of a astrology. Or maybe it's something to do with being a Tuesday's child and a Cancerian. I was born on Tuesday the 16th of July 1991 34 years and 1 week after Paul himself and I don't find it that easy getting along with people, but that's only because they hate me and think I'm stupid.
Everytime someone else makes a gag on HIGNFY, he always gurns. Comic jealousy?
Plus he never got on with John Sessions, which is understandable. He doesn't particularly strike me as the kind of person who it would be easy to get along with
He is showing a front on HIGNFY, its part of his comedic character. If you want to see what he is really like look up room 101 which he hosted. Also, he never got on with Angus.
the UK crowd is strikingly silent compared to the US audience

I love Paul Merton - he is a wonderful performer.
He and Tony Slattery make a brilliant double-act

Oh, thanks. =] And you're right!

I would've thought they'd hated each other. In fact, I can't imagine Merton getting along with anyone
