  • The Whiteboard program used in this video is now in it's 2.0 release. I is called smoothboard and you can buy it along with lot's of other necessaries at our website. Search for WBSW here on youtube to get started, since Youtube will not allow me to post a web address directly into a post.

  • Please give the screen back to students... we teachers are not supposed to block the screen when the students need it, even though I appreciate the magic chalk...

  • your microphone sucks man

  • dude how do you do that thing with microsoft word wen u write and it types?

    please tell me

  • brilliant video - thanks for posting - will be introducing a wiimote smartboard soon and the applications you introduced will help greatly!

  • Does the Wiimote have anything to do with Nintendo?

  • Yes it is the Remote Control for the Nintendo Wii. They can be purchased separately and this project in no way affects the device so it can still be used by the Wii.

  • Hi mate, I assume you use a switch inside your pen. Could you post what you used for your pen (where you got them from and part numbers if possible). Most of the IR pens out there all are US made (e.g. Radioshack).

Would be greatly appreciated :)) . Top vid by the way while I am sucking up.

  • Click more info on the right side panel all there

    Ben :-)

  • I cannot understand what you are saying. The audio is awful.

  • I apologies, you are not the first to comment.

The classroom I used echoes badly, I have enhanced the sound as much as I can. I may just need to re-shot.

Try adjusting your system audio volume:

    Start/All Programs/Accessories/Entertainment/Volume Control

Check that 'Wave' and 'Volume Control' up high and that the balance is in the middle.

  • hi i have a question, i know you mentioned it in the video but i couldn't hear what you said

in the beginning how were you able to write in microsoft Word by doing that. Appreciate your help

  • Welcome to the Wiimote Project, you will get more support at the project forum.

I used Ritepen (Evernote link, in info) It has the Optical Character Recogition (OCR) capabilities. Thye have also improved the OCR engine since this demo.

I prefer AnnotatePro and Microsoft Onenote though.
