You are right, the Pens (nor any other team for that matter) won't win as many championships as the Habs. But the City of Pittsburgh has plenty to brag about if they choose to do so.
The Flyers have a chance to win this year but unfortunately, they are in a conference where probably 3 or 4 other teams are as good or better than they are. All of those teams have a great chance to win the cup also.

You could bring up the cups but thats not logical, because saying the penguins are better than Philly is like saying the leafs are better than the wings.

Put it this way. You think that a team thats made it to the SCF more than anyone since '67 outside of Montreal are worse than a team thats picked 1st/2nd overall the most and finished bottom 3 in the NHL more than anyone since '67.
The flyers dont rely on drafting 1st/2nd to win, they rely on saavy management/scouting and good coaching. they trade for lindroses and prongers and try to win it all, and are usually in contention.
