I'm considreing the m6400 because a majority of MS / Adobe Apps are supporting 64 bit and I'm tired of rendering time / opening 700 meg photoshop files. Anyone working with capturing video with the m6400? Please let the YouTube "The72Rabbit" know.

Im getting this in 2 weeks time, 16gb rams, intel quadcore extreme processor, 320gb harddisk, nvidia quadro 3700fx 1gb shared memory graphics, dvdwr. THE BEST CONFIGURATION i would say not taking raid 0 into consideration, my harddisk is raid 1.BUT I DONT CARE. it costs around rm21000 in malaysia, approximately 7000usd. WOOOOOOT!!!

I have m6400 and it is a great portable workstation. Only problem is a low quality RGB-LED screen which is a pain to calibrate correctly. But it is possible to get screen close to Adobe RGB Specs. Not sure why it so badly adjusted from the factory (LG) - white point, gamma are totally off. Anyway I just hope that some day it will be enough demand from professionals for S-PVA or S-IPS panels in such laptops. until then the only solution is a good external monitor.

This laptop at least makes sence for professional 3D artists, it supports double the memory that the MBP 17 inch does, can take two hard drives, and has workstation graphics.

Base, it's $3859, but spec'd out like the one in the ad (except with 4gb RAM instead of 16 and 2x320GB HDD instead of 500) and your going to be looking at around to 6 grand.

I just ordered mine, and I'll be receiving it in about a month. 8BG RAM, x2 250 GB HD in raid 0, RBG LED screen, 2 DVD drives. Not blu-ray though, option not available.

judging by the rest of te laptop, the graphics card is most likely to be 3 gtx 280's in sli or 2 9800gx2's in quad sli.

I think it's the Quadro FX 3700M. The cards you've mentioned don't exist for laptops.
