@GTReplayMaster Contrary to what many people believe, that is not "breaking the fourth wall". If you want a more detailed explanation for this, communicate with me through Private Messaging .
@filipeflower I realize it isn't. But in layman's terms, it can be considered that. The only time a REAL fourth wall break is when the character directly communicates with the player.
@GTReplayMaster You still don't get it. "Mantis' Hymn" (unlike other background musics) is actually part of the story, because it appears everytime Psycho Mantis is in psychic activity (the other background musics are just for show). Hal, Snake and Naomi actually reffer to Mantis' Hymn several times.
So if I work in the MG hanger and needs the toilet, I have to get through the cold storeroom, two long elevators, furnace, snow field, nuke storage bld, then into the lift that takes me here (the MGS4 route skips the comm. towers)? These seems to be the only toilets on the base, and it looks similar on Big Shell too (thou there's no evidence of absence of toilets on Shell 2).
Hmm guess it's good that they made a remake of MGS1, but many characters are not original, for example, while Big Boss is more patient and analyzing, Solid Snake is more impulsive and aggressive, in Twin Snakes, Solid hasn't got much of his original features from MGS1
I'm sorry, but I really hate the character models for this game. Especially Meryl's. Her hair is awful, her eyes are the wrong color, she's as scrawny as a toothpick and she has no ass. Her face in general is just kinda weird looking.
Go look at MGS2: Substance casting theater's version of Meryl. THAT is how you do a Meryl model properly. She's fit and a healthy weight, has blue eyes, and a nice butt as she should. The hair is still kinda bad but at least it's actually red.
@yuyuzja Her face should have been closer to what you see during the codec in the PS1 version. I agree that her model is way off of what it should have been.
@yuyuzja For me, I find more issue with Solid Snake's facial animation. I know he's supposed to be all stoic and jaded, but he literally seems to have one facial expression.
Just look at him screaming "Foooooox!" when Grey Fox gets killed. It's hilarious and the definition of narm.
3:33 On the battlefield, you never think whats next... and before he also mentioned battlefield and it was unrelated to the subject, lol! Ah, Snake, always thinking about war.
@AndyCOBHC u notice how solid snake luks alooooot like solidus snake but younger i no there copys but solid snake dint luk like solidus too much or should i say big boss also cuz solidus luk'd the most like big boss n merryl has got a hint of olga in her face
@JAYCZero Umm no, in both version if you chase her in a rush (only 1 or 2 second s behind), the next cutscene will show her without pants cuz she had no time to put it on =)
I laughed at "what happened to the music?" I love intentional fourth wall breaks that were meant to seem unintentional at the same time. xD

Meryl: "I wont slow you down, I promise."
Snake: "And what if you do?"
Meryl: "Then, you can shoot me."
Snake: "I don't like to waste bullets." LMAO! xD

I hate how they gave Meryl brown hair in this game. They should have kept her red hair
