for the sally hansen quit you can use normale base color from any brand! Just make sure you put on a top coat :) The migi nail art quite is fun but I find they add little bumps on your nails

the migi nail are is pretty cool and good i ordered it from amazon, BUT the refills that it says is free isnt ezactly free, you only get 2 refills and the rest you pay for, but you can always put your own polish in the bottle once it is smpty

I found that the sally hansen ones worked better . the Miji ones were annoying because every time you lift the pen you have to clean the tip . also, the tips get easily caught in the cap .

I was much more impressed with the Migi Nail Art pens due to their versatility, variety and affordability. I didn't like how expensive the Sally Hansen ones were, and they seemed to crack and separate! Why is that?

When you buy the Sally Hansen pens, does 1 pen use only 1 colour? For example, you have red and another colour. Is that the only colour the pen can use? Or can you dip it into another nail polish colour and use differnt colours?

The Migi ones can be bought online, but the Sally Hansen Can be bought in any drug sdtore( CVS, Walgreens, Walmart,)

The thing about the Migi nail art pens though is you can't buy them at a local drugstore, like you can with The Sally Hensen pens. If you want the Migi ones, you'll have to buy them online, or at a show or somewhere.

I bought the migi pens at a Christmas show, and I love them so much! They work fantastic. I've never tried the sally ones and I don't want to, lol.

I have six colours of Sally Hansen, the Migi's actually look better, but the Sally Hansen's are great to practice with since you can wipe off mistakes. I think I'll get the Migis after these are done...

migi is way better!! the sally hansen is just a marker/pen but migi is DOUBLE SIDED with a nail polish and nail pen
