@swiv2d Shame Dawson is actually a really nice guy, very genuine. I don't know ijustine at all. But most people who actively make videos on youtube are trying hard to make a career out of it (ie: make enough money that it can be their fulltime job). And if that's their dream, more power to them.
The difference for me is that I spend 95% of my work time talking to my viewers, answering messages, etc. I care SO much about my genuine viewers and trying to be some sort of positive influence.
@kicesie I can understand them making a career out of it, but not when they start using tragic events from the world to their advantage by posting misleading vid titles or enabling ads in a video that's meant to raise awareness for these problems like maleria or aids and such. It's pretty low.

@swiv2d I hate misleading titles as well. But I do have to point out that an entire industry already exists off of celebrity's hardships (celeb gossip tv channels and magazines) and even the World News on any channel makes money off of both good and bad events that they report on.
But yes, misleading titles or key words is not only shitty, it's against Youtube's rules. I know I would get in trouble for it!
@adpylons I consult with lots of professionals, doctors, nurses, read research articles for hours on end, things like that. Plus, I have taken many college courses on related subjects. She -deserves- to make money on this!

@twistedfool420 I guess it depends on your definition of celebrity. I would define a celebrity as someone who is seen by MANY people. And many of the top youtubers have more views that B list actors (when you compare how many people watch their movies to how many people have watched these youtubers' videos)
So I would most certainly call the top youtubers celebrities (myself not included)!

@JusmeAndy Trust me, I've looked at our pictures side by side and I simply don't see it.... same face shape but that's about it to me. I guess it's because when I see me I just see me... not someone else.
As for my hair color, I'll always be changing it around. In fact I put red streaks in it this time around (didn't show up much in the video, but they're there). It'll go dark again at some point, but for now I'm going to go lighter and lighter until it's almost white-blonde. :-P
@JusmeAndy Actually if you use a deep conditioner and SLOWLY go about lightening your hair (instead of trying to bleach all of it all at once) it's completely okay. My hair is really healthy. I never blow my hair dry or use products in it or anything... And I lighten it by highlighting pieces every time. That's the only way to do it! :-)
@silkyjohnson123 Yep, you really do have to put the effort into creating lots of videos, being patient, and really listening to what it is people want to watch. See which videos get the most views and stick to that style, topic, etc... And of course, NEVER use copyrighted material because if you do they will never let you be partner. @PatrioT6611 I've been reading and approving comments on 30+ videos... and responding to messages all along... just hadn't made a video in two months. I have many more coming out over the next couple months. I don't foresee myself ever leaving youtube. I've also been working on building a real, professional website finally!

@twistedfool420 I guess it depends on your definition of celebrity. I would define a celebrity as someone who is seen by MANY people. And many of the top youtubers have more views that B list actors (when you compare how many people watch their movies to how many people have watched these youtubers' videos)
So I would most certainly call the top youtubers celebrities (myself not included)!

In regards to my note to you, look at your current hair style and look at hers in any Bourne movie, if it helps.

@JusmeAndy Trust me, I've looked at our pictures side by side and I simply don't see it.... same face shape but that's about it to me. I guess it's because when I see me I just see me... not someone else.
As for my hair color, I'll always be changing it around. In fact I put red streaks in it this time around (didn't show up much in the video, but they're there). It'll go dark again at some point, but for now I'm going to go lighter and lighter until it's almost white-blonde. :-P

@JusmeAndy Actually if you use a deep conditioner and SLOWLY go about lightening your hair (instead of trying to bleach all of it all at once) it's completely okay. My hair is really healthy. I never blow my hair dry or use products in it or anything... And I lighten it by highlighting pieces every time. That's the only way to do it! :-)

@silkyjohnson123 Yep, you really do have to put the effort into creating lots of videos, being patient, and really listening to what it is people want to watch. See which videos get the most views and stick to that style, topic, etc... And of course, NEVER use copyrighted material because if you do they will never let you be partner.
