what? just because you know alot of theory means you can play, their is alot musicians that can play and not know what their doing becuase they use their ears
kraz us a fantastic guitar and plays complicated jazz composition. He is dumbing it down for few reasons, the context, "you the public watching this" and he is obviously a bit "buzzed". He is a Berkley product that played, soul, funk, classical, you name it etc.. and especially fusion jazz. He would shame most of you amateur "guitar majors". so before criticizing go listen to his earlier jazz work and you might learn something
@drissc I wouldn't say he was berklee product. he was there for a semester. he's simply addressing elements of his playing that are useful to him. He doesn't bother with advanced triad studies or the more obscure melodic minor modes because he doesn't use that stuff in his solos. He's not giving an advanced theory lesson he's giving a krasno lesson. Honestly alot of that stuff is crap anyway. And I agree with you.

well, i'll go listen to the good ol' soulive cds, and think that such wonderfull music once existed..
