Hey Bud, great sounding car. I have the Perrin Stage 2 kit as well and love it! Quick question, I am wanting the perrin recir bov and cai for some more turbo noise. How do you like it? Is the "Bshhh" sound any louder when you shift? I really want the BOV noise but don't want a vent to atmosphere. Thanks for any feedback.
@biddyhound this video was when i first got the exhaust installed. i have another video up hitting higher rpms, as well as some autox vids with in-car footage where you can hear the BOV pretty good. watch the video "june 20 autox run 5"
to answer your question, yes i do like it. its not too loud and you still get the "whoosh" sound when you let off after built up pressure. any more questions feel free to ask

More like 280 at the crank my man. 280 at the wheels on an 08 with your mods would mean you put on close to 100 crank hp with a few bolt ons... aka basically impossible.
What Conner said. An 08 with a TD04 can't push that much, not even the 09+ with the VF52. Nice car though, man. Perrin sounds the best hands down, for dual.

Perrin claims 90ft-lbs and 30-50hp but I can't buy those numbers solely as a result of ECU and turboback. Are they actually even close to accurate? Thanks a bunch!
you might not be able to run stage 2 because you got the spt cat back which isnt 3inch piping like cobb cat back...it might have to much back preasure causing your turbo to spin backwards which isnt good
I just installed a COBB downpipe to my SPT Catback. I'm running Cobb's Stage 2 Off the Shelf MAP. I'm hearing A LOT of air turbulence and Wastegate Fluttering. Do you hear this too? Do you have any in car clips so I can hear what your car sounds like in the cabin? I'm just paranoid and want to make sure everything is good. Nice video by the way.

I was under the impression that porting just prevents you from overboosting because it allows more air to bypass the turbine through the wastegate. If you don't have Cobbs Race Tuner software, get it, it's free.

Well...technically you're making more torque at different rpms so you're right...peak torque and hp will not be altered greatly, but in certain areas of the powerband there will be definite increases. My car saw a big torque gain in the low to mid rpms and a few hp up top, but nothing substantial (yes on the same dyno).

I was wondering this and emailed Perrin and they said "Yes the down pipe in the Stage 2 Light will mate up with your SPT CBE."

more vids are in the process. when u port the turbo, you just recieve boost sooner, its not a hp/tq gain.
