@cfieldk614 actually it does not calculate strength, rather impact speed. It is much harder to kick a high score than to punch one. Try it and you will see.

As for doing it in MMA, It has to do with the danger in execution. Once you are in the air if the target saw you coming it's goodbye charlie! He can swat you right out of the air and lay you out. Also, he could just move around you and have a perfect target for your landing.
