Kil'jaeden and Archimode are both species called Eredar an old race in the universe that was supremely gifted naturally with magick, Sargeras saw this and chose the three strongest as his generals and turned them into what they are now, this race was what is now named Dreani, one of them refused so there are two generals of the legion.

Kil'jaeden, Sargeras and such don't die in the same way, because they manifest in different avatars. That's explained when Aegwynn thought she destroyed Sargeras, but he actually lives, through Medivh and surely now by some other means.

He is not dead, nor is Archimonde or Sargeras. Azshara has now been seen alive in Darkshore. All races are now using some form of arcane magic. There are still demons in Azeroth. The return of Sargeras and the Burning Legion will be in the next expansion.

When it's day time in Eastern Kingdoms, it's day time in Kalimdor as well. This means the Sundering tore Kalimdor (the original Kalimdor not the current small island) into more than just three large continents. We've only seen half the world.

1. This is Kil'jaeden as he was shown in the Sunwell Plateau raid instance in The Burning Crusade Archimonde died in the events in Warcraft 3 and you had to face him again in TBC in the Caverns of Time(meaning you traveled back in time).

2. Kil'jaeden is NOT the leader of the the Burning Legion,Sargeras is.

3. Kil'jaeden did not die we just stopped him from being summoned in Azeroth.
