After season 7 the whole theme of the show changed........

So did the characters, there were less issues in the community and more and more stories centered around people other than the original family.....

Ill always prefer seasons 1-6

I really liked this show when it first came out but then I lost interest in it after awhile b/c I thought the show was losing its focus from the show being centered on the family like it first was but then when I heard it was airing its final episode I had to watch it but seeing these videos of the shows does bring back some memories

No, you're absolutely right. It began to lose focus on the family around season 6. It was awesome having Robbie on the show (and the whole boarder thing was original then! Unlike with Martin and others after him) but I saw a bit of a problem when they focused on his girlfriend's lost brother. But the family was important as well.

That was nothing compared to season seven on, because the storylines were mainly about the non-Camdens, rather than the actual Camdens (or who remained, at least).
